perfect place and perfect location and the best host
Espanola is a growing town. Just big enough to have fun without the big city issues of traffic. Went gambling at one of the casinos there and had breakfast at a local restaurant La Cocina that had fantastic Mexican food. Espanola is also known for the apples they grow there. Stopped at a road side stand to get some for home.
The guy at the desk was nice and helpful. Room was fine for a quick night's sleep while traveling. Bathroom was small and not updated, but it fine. Sheets seemed clean. I don't use comforters or blankets at any hotel. Not a lot of parking, but the parking lot was lit well.
The casitas are beautiful inside. Primitive art and exquisite local craftsmanship is everywhere. The attention to detail and anticipated need, is the best I’ve seen. The hot tub is a GREAT way to relax.
