The owners are wonderful and have an outstanding family. I was very happy with the room, all the amenities. The time spent talking with Rachael and Steve was an absolute joy. Rachael also made us an excellent breakfast! I will definitely be back and will bring the family with me. I would highly recommend this bed & breakfast!

Nice to have breakfast on site and included. Beautiful surroundings. It was a big reason why we booked here... Nice and quiet. Great view out our window.

Be aware that they require a $150.00 deposit against property damage. Most of the exterior doors appear to have been kicked. I paid the deposit in cash and at first believed that it was for my service dog but was informed that it was a policy there for each room. I should have run then but had already booked online and couldn’t expect a refund. Steer clear of this place!

I booked my stay to be with family for a surprise birthday party. It was a busy weekend in Farmington as they had a festival downtown and a race at the fairgrounds on Saturday night. We didn’t go downtown for the festival but did go to the races and had a blast.

First - any room must have cold A/C and endless hot shower water, check. Second - facility must be clean, check. The two bonuses: friendly, knowledgeable staff & exceptional breakfast (link and patty sausage plus bacon !). We will definitely stay again, thanks
I understand that 11:00 am is an industry standard, but we would really prefer a 12:00 noon checkout.

Farmington is a clean, safe town with friendly people, always something to do. It has a one of every most popular stores, We had a delicious dinner with family at the Catfish House and it was a lot food. They also have a new Tap House, a Blues-Booze and Bar Be Cue restaurant, a new library, An Amish community with a store proudly stocked with all things Amish. The town is just 1 hour from St. Louis.
It's Antique Heaven ! Close to rivers and lakes. Beautiful in the fall.

Johnson's Shut In was impressive.
Johnson's Shut In was impressive. We're planning on going back soon. Also saw the Battle of Fort Davidson's Pilot Knob. It was informative. Tom Sauk mountain was great. Elephant Rock was amazing too! We were not disappointed. We ate at El Patapio (I think that's how it's spelled) Mexican restaurant. That was amazing food and excellent Service
Hotel was beautiful, booking.com misrepresented this hotel. I booked a king room with a hottub. My reservation stated check-in was at 3pm. We get there. Young lady informs my check-in isn't until 4pm. No tub, much less a hottub in the room. Hottub in pool area was not working either. I told the young lady to cancel the reservation, due to false advertising. Lesson learned, always call the hotel personally. I was charged for not staying there.
We were pleasantly surprised to find this hotel to be every bit as nice as similar hotels in larger cities. Our stay was made particularly enjoyable by the super-friendly, helpful staff -- from the front desk to the staffer repairing the ice-nmachine. Our room was spotless and well-equipped, beds comfortable and even the pillows were better than you typically find in hotels. No carpeting was a plus, as well.
Hotel had no record of my reservation despite having a booking confirmation. The man at the front desk was INCREDIBLY rude and unhelpful and made no efforts to find a resolution (even after waiting in line for an hour because it took him 30 minutes to book each person in front of me in). Booking.com customer service tried to call the hotel and the hotel hung up on them. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
It‘s a lovely hotel with all the services needed - gym, laudry room, swimming pool, a conference room. And Sarah, one of the receptionists was sooo lovely, always asking how we were, very kind and approachable. We felt very welcome and taken care of well.
We like that it is pet friendly. Convenient to our family and the city. This was our second stay with our pup. The room was not exactly pet friendly(carpet) but it was comfortable. We prefer room 112.
the pool was nice. I liked the chairs right outside room when staying pool side. Breakfast was good. Nice to have hot meal choices and not just muffins and fruit.
