Loved the western decor, gift shop and restaurant on property. Management texted me the day after I checked in to see if everything was to my liking.

When we checked out and was traveling on the road, I remembered I had left my reading glasses in the room. I called Gallup to tell them about my reading glasses, and gave them our room number and asked if they found them if they could send them to my home in California, and they said there was nothing they could do to help me. That was my only pair of reading glasses.

We stayed in the historic area on Route 66 on the west side of town and enjoyed walk-in in the downtown area and dining at a local Mexican restaurant that had a great authentic local meaning at a good price.

Booked through booking.com for 88 dollars when I checked in I was charged 138 dollars noticed it when I checked my bank account. Went to front desk and told I was over charged for the room .They told me there is a $50 deposit add to room and that I would get that back after I check out. It’s 2 days later and have not received my 50 deposit back. They should informed me of the &50 deposit when checking in, I would of went somewhere else

One can many well-prepared and signed nice hiking trails around Gallup. In the city there are several shps that offer native american artworks. I bumped into a cafe which made really good coffee in an atmospheric that was alsp well suited for working (spacious, music, WLAN).. The weather in Gallup was warm with a strong dry wind,, much better than farther to the East where it was too hot and humid for outdoor activities. I recommend to visit Gallup. with 2 overnight stays (I had only one night there).

Dirty room and bathroom, they had flies coming out of the sink area of the restroom. There were stains on the mattress and small lively black bugs as well. The bed frame has stains as well and it looked like blood. I’m glad I brought my own blanket. I could not believe how dirty and yellow the mattress was when pulling back the sheets. For being pet friendly I was surprised it was all carpet. The worst part was the rule about no refunds if you were in the room for more than 20 minutes. By the time I found all the problems it was past 20 minutes I had no choice but to stay.

The facility and room was nice and clean- The Bed was horrible and had a big dip in it and was just downright an old mattress. Staff was no help and Assistant Gen Mgr sent email few days later promising to address the issue and do better next time. Guess they expected me to appreciate the worst night of sleep ever...Usually like La Quinta Inn's but will not ever go to this one again...Take my chances in other places.
I loved the feeling of the hotel with its collection of memorabilia from times when movie stars of the late 40's and 50's stayed there while filming nearby. The hotel is immaculately maintained while providing a wonderful flashback to that era, complete the with vintage neon signs taking one back to the days of old Route 66. And while there are probably other spots to eat in Gallup, there is no need to leave the hotel for meals. The restaurant has excellent choices at all hours, and the staff are very welcoming.
The hotel interior is dated, like a budget hotel
The hotel is located in an un paved parking lot of a gas station. The holiday inn sign is the only modern thing about this hotel. Our first room was uncleanness and had soiled bed line. The second room was better, but appeared just unclean like all of the hotel.
Very clean hotel and rooms, the room was spacious and well kept. The pool and spa was crystal clear and towels provided at the pool. The breakfast had multiple choices to choose from the breakfast attendant assisted with making a waffle she was very kind and helpful. I will definitely book at the location again
This is a value-priced motel in Gallup, which is suffering economic hard times during the pandemic. It was only a couple dollars more than an RV Park, so we opted for it on our campervan trip--a break from National Park campsites.
Spotless, quiet, good location and staff were so helpful. One of our group was I’ll during the visit and the hotel were so helpful. The hotel has a lovely pool, great breakfast and even laundry facilities. perfect!
We ate breakfast at Cracker Barrel next door. The Frontage road in front of the hotel was lined with Homeless old RV's all parked in a No parking zone. the city is obviously not enforcing the parking laws.
Doors to access the building are locked and require a room key to unlock. It is conveniently located on the outside of the city, making it easy to find, yet is still close to downtown Gallup.
We were on a road trip through NM and ended up in Gallup for the night. The hotel is very close to the highway. The room was very spacious, clean and the staff was friendly.
It was on the route 66 which makes it a convenient stop for a road trip. They also allow pets. The entrance of the hotel was amazing. You could get a sense of history.
Super eclectic Gallup-esque property. My imagination was running wild with what the glory days might have looked like in this apparently built for conventions venue.
