Breakfast was OK. Though there were different choices of items a little more variety would (cereals, entre items) have been nice! The breakfast seating area was very inviting and comfortable. The staff did a great job of keeping the tables clean.

What we liked was the play we went to, which is the reason we drove down - our daughter was in it. The Bag and Baggage company is very talented and professional. The best place to eat is Amelias - really good menu, but the other restaurants on main street are mostly just burgers. We didn't have time to check out the bakeries for coffee and pastries, so we didn't find a good breakfast place. There was a nice festival going on. The best thing about it was the fresh produce.
We don't have young children. We are retired adults.
I don't recommend Hillsborough as a vacation.
A lovely bottle of Oregon Rose wine awaited us along with a personal note from the owners - nice touch! Due to Covid restrictions, the owners gave us breakfast vouchers at the delicious bakery just down the street - a great way to start the day. The room was well appointed with all the things I could want for a couple of nights stay for a personal weekend or an even longer stay for business. It was all around lovely - a beautiful hotel and a fantastic location!
It's a very nice property and we were very comfortable. They have a nice hot breakfast everyday, and evening snacks and drinks Monday - Wednesday. The pool was small but clean and comfortable. We also liked the access to the free washers and dryers. The suites were roomy and comfortable, including the sofa bed. The grocery store and cafes were a short half mile from the hotel. The service and staff were excellent. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.
The pool was a bit crowded that particular Saturday, but my teenagers still spent a little bit of time in the hottub, then they decided to take advantage of the gym. My teenagers enjoyed the gym a lot. The young lady at the front desk was accomadating l and offered to sign me up for Holiday Inn member perks, which I appreciated. Overall the hotel appearance is nice, inside and out. The rooms and beds were spacious and comfortable.
The hotel was quiet, with refrigerator and microwave. Very clean. Bed was softer than I like, most would have found it very comfortable. They were available last minute, when I was stranded due to a snowstorm. There is a coffee shop across the street, and several restaurants and groceries very nearby.
Breakfast was fine, convenient, standard fare for hotels. Coffee was excellent, location good, clean, cheerful area. Only negative were the apples, they were old and dry.
The staff was very helpful. We especially liked the night front desk woman who went out of her way to make us welcome.
Room was spacious and comfortable. We booked for 1 night and stayed 3 - and came back a week later rather than looking for another hotel in the area. Coffee / hot water available in lobby all the time was good.
Not too far from the light rail (one reason we chose original booking).
I loved the spacious room and the quiet setting. There was a fully stocked pantry with lots of great snacks, sweets, drinks, and even ice cream. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel had a pool, a gym, and a laundromat. We had a lovely time.
The most relaxing hotel I’ve stayed at in many many years. Talk about Tranquility and a great wine after working all day long. The Cedar Tree was exceptionally quiet. So often that you stayed a hotel where you feel, you are the only person there.
I’ve been thinking of something that I liked about booking this hotel and the only thing I can come up with is “perspective building opportunity”.
It’s places like this that make you appreciate staying elsewhere.
The worst stay in this hotel
Bathroom were with poop in the toilet they send us to another room it was dirty as well we waited for 3hrs so they can transfer us to another hotel the worst experience ever!@!!!
Loved how accommodating staff was. The room size is so much better than your average hotel room. Love the kitchen area, will be looking to stay at Home2Suites anytime we travel now.
The 2 receptionist ladies were very kind and helpful. Room were clean but the price was a bit too high. What made a difference between this hotel and others was the hot breakfast.
Located in a perfect location in Hillsboro, close to many amenities. Very comfortable room. very welcoming. Greeted with a smile and very conscious of sanitary issues.
We scored a good rate so I wasn’t expecting such an updated hotel. The lobby was super clean, quiet, and modern. The staff was great - from check in to checkout.
