I loved the kindness and availability of the owners to answer our doubts and questions. They are very friendly people and do not interrupt your stay with their presence, even living near the house. The place was immaculate and organized. The bed was very comfortable and the temperature was perfect. The bathroom is clean and has hot water. Truly, it is a cozy space with privacy. My favorite space was the enclosed porch. We had a nice evening drinking a couple of beers on that porch. It's a very quiet neighborhood, so you need to be considerate of the surroundings. I will stay here again if I return one day. Thanks for everything!

This place was great for the price and the host was super friendly. He also doesn't charge all the extra fees that everyone else does. If we knew how nice a place it was we would have stayed longer.. But the price made us a little leary

It was such a wonderful experience, the room is designed to make you feel like you are sleeping in a tropical forest surrounded by nature. Patrick is a great host with plenty of tips on where to go and how to get around. Would definitely go back. As to be expected in that kind of setting, make sure to bring a mosquito repellent and ear plugs

The Bungalow at Honolulu Landing is very clean and comfortable. It is a one bedroom bungalow, it is great for me as my husband is a early riser and I can sleep longer with the door closed. The patio is right next to the living room, it overlooks the lush tropical garden. The kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, I cook most of my meals there. During the Omicron virus surge, I tend not to eat out in an indoor environment. There is a nice local supermarket at Pahoa, it has all kinds of fresh food, vegetables, sushi, poke, hot deli. It is about 40 minutes drive to the Volcano National Park, a park that is worth spending time there. I enjoy my stay at Honolulu Landing, I feel relaxed. It is what a vacation is for.
