The proximity of stores and being in between Holland and Grand Rapids. One of the days we even drove to Muskegon, and went to Michigan, aventures the convenience of being in a little city, and not being so busy was the best. You have that great hometown feel with the option of being in a bigger city. Traffic was not bad any of the days that we stayed in town. The people in town were so friendly.

Quality Inn, may be ok...but BOOKING.COM took so long to send in my reservation to the hotel, which resulted in me being stranded without a room. They had only received my reservation an hour before I arrived and had no available rooms. Although I had reserved my room 17 hours prior to my arrival. The woman at the check in desk was not overly friendly. Her attitude was like "oh well" I realize she is not responsible for booking.coms poor service, but neither was I. She did make a phone call to the manager who stated they had rooms at their hotel, Travelodge down the road. Big difference between Quality Inn and Travelodge. Travelodge staff was friendly, but the chairs were so dirty I put one out in the hall, and put a bath towel on the other chair so I could sit with my computer at the table. The window screen was broke and had an old piece of wood in the window track (anti-theft system?_Not a great experience at either hotel.

We stayed for a night.
We stayed for a night. BC it was a cheaper selection it showed. No front desk person; had to call to get a representative. The room was clean. No towels. Pool no functioning. The property had few guests seemed almost abandoned. Will not stay in a cheaper room anymore. You get what you pay for.
