The Carriage House at Strasburg, hotel in Intercourse

Offering a complimentary continental breakfast, this Strasburg hotel is located within walking distance of the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania. Free Wi-Fi access is available.

The room was very clean and the décor was nice. It felt like a room in my home, even the bathroom had a 'homie' feel while also being modern. I appreciated the voucher for breakfast; that was a nice extra bonus. What I really appreciated was the black washcloth specifically for removing makeup. I thought that was a nice added touch. My husband was even impressed. We will definitely stay there again.

What a beautiful part of the country.

What a beautiful part of the country. We stayed here as we visited Hershey Park because all the closer motels had complaints about cockroaches. (This one didn't.) The area is an eclectic mix of the traditional and modern. Amish people work the fields and ride around in a horse and buggy, and then you have jackasses who go flying by in pickup trucks. You'll see people in the fields plowing with horses, but the motel still has Wi-Fi. We didn't do much in Intercourse itself, though. We did visit an area called something like kettle kitchen, which was a bunch of shops that sold local stuff. The local stuff was pretty expensive, and the cheaper stuff (still pretty pricey) was shipped in from elsewhere. I do wish I had had the time to go on an "Amish tour" or learn more about the people, though.

Great place to go and unwind, and take a deep breath. Great places to shop, stay, and eat. When you need a break from the daily routine, I highly suggest this area to disconnect and realize what is really important.

I have come here for over 40 years. It was so awesome when it was more authentic. Hard to find local work as easily and way too commercialized. Probably won’t return except to drive through beautiful countryside.

Great little town with a nice farm and community feel!

Great little town with a nice farm and community feel! It’s a great place to visit for a night or two. Bring a cooler to bring home all the delicious sauces, meats, and cheeses from Kitchen Kettle Village. If your kid likes tractors, check out the International tractor store Hoobers (the red tractor brand, not John Deere, although there were some jd’s there). My son enjoyed feeding the Pygmy goats, and bring quarters for the kibble machine. Bring your appetite and wear your comfy walking shoes.

Chef on site…excellent breakfasts. Rooms were immaculate and luxurious. The Building is well over 100 years old, tastefully decorated for that time period…yet updated. The atmosphere is totally reminiscent of a bygone era. The staff is hands on…never failing to go above your expectations. I will return and will highly recommend it to friends. Most importantly I would challenge any veteran B&B frequenters to find any establishment that could measure up to The Inn and Spa in Intercourse Pa.

Room was spotless and nicely updated. Love that the building is the old style one floor that leads directly outside, and parking is right out front of your room. Chairs to sit on out front of your door, Gazebo, lounge chairs, picnic table on the front lawn area. Breakfast was great with many choices. Coffee was so good, it's their own blend. And you can use all of the facilities at their main location a short drive away. Will definitely be back just because!

We throughly enjoyed everything from the friendly attentive staff at check in, the housekeeping staff, especially Abigail who we had attending our room. She was the friendliest person with an exceptionally high standard of cleanliness!! The pool was huge, clean and equipped with lots of clean towels. The breakfast was plentiful with a variety of food to suit everyone. The whole hotel was cozy, warm and inviting. Truly home to home experience.

I loved how they staff was very welcoming and attentive. The location was very close to a lot of places. The restaurant that was connected food delicious and the portion was great. I loved that they had a family suite that most hotels does not. The beds were also very comfortable. I've recommended Best Western to alot of people already and will continue to do so.

The Location was great near Kitchen Kettle Village. Very clean and polite staff, breakfast was good. We were able to swim at one if their other facilities just down the rd and got 20% off dinner at the Bird in Hand family restaurant. My granddaughter loved watching the horse and buggies go by, we went for a buggy ride the next morning. Will go back again for sure.

great location in the centre of Intercourse. A very short walk to Kitchen Kettle Village and some fantastic quilt and quilt fabric stores. the swimming pool was a major bonus especially with the very hot weather at the end of our stay. Staff, whether front desk, domestic or catering, were always cheerful and helpful.

Each morning was a Chef's pick or two other standard options. We both chose the Chef's pick and ate dishes that we would normally not eat, but they were astounding! The host's were very friendly and and very knowledgeable of the area.
