We didn't stay for breakfast as we had to leave early. Wish they had the grab & go options available earlier.

Pretty inside. The tankless water heater meant we could wash clothes and still shower at night. The couch, opposite the large screen TV, was a cozy place to cuddle and relax. Close to everything we needed (gas/liquor/grocery/coffee/food). The neighborhood was clean and quiet.

At first glance, this hotel looks great.
At first glance, this hotel looks great. But after staying there, you’ll know that the owners have just put lipstick on a pig. The lobby and pool are the only places in the hotel that aren’t run down.
When we arrived, there was a surprise $100 security deposit, which wasn’t stated anywhere on the website when we booked. My family and I booked the largest suite because my husband was here for business and I stayed in the hotel with our two young children. We ordered breakfast which was $13 for a breakfast sandwich (the menu said $9). The “toast” for the sandwich was floppy and the eggs weren’t fully cooked. We let that go because things happen.
I planned on swimming and then taking the two kids to lunch at the hotel restaurant. When we got downstairs to the restaurant, I was told by a very rude employee that she was the only server there and she wanted to go home, so she wasn’t accepting tables. It was 130pm and she told me I needed to wait until 345 when the next server came in.
I went to the front desk to talk to someone, Kacie was very kind and helpful and eventually convinced the cook to take and prepare our lunch order. But we had to take it to go. It took over an hour for us to get our Cesar salad and chicken tenders (even though nobody else was there) and the whole time we were waiting, the girl was just sitting on her phone and organizing receipts. Mind you, she wouldn’t look or speak to us at that point. The lunch was disgusting, soggy and cold. When we complained to management, we were brushed off.
Not to mention, everything in the room was run down, the elevators were sketchy, the furniture was all chipped and falling apart and definitely not worth the money for the room. All of the fire extinguishers hadn’t been inspected in over a year, so if there were a fire, who know if they would work!
If you’re looking for a relaxing stay, this is not the place.

Smaller quieter town close to Louisville.
Smaller quieter town close to Louisville. Traveling the GRC bridge across into downtown can be backed up but overall Jeffersonville is a much cheaper alternative to stay if visiting Louisville versus staying in Louisville.

Jeffersonville was a charming town.
Jeffersonville was a charming town. I was there for business so I did not get to explore much. For travelers who would like to be close to Louisville without the hustle and bustle and higher cost of lodging Jeffersonville is perfect.

Jefferson is a really nice town, the locals were friendly & courteous ,lots of fast food , gas & markets easily accessible. If you read this. You’re in for a nasty surprise if you stay at Wayfare Motel cheapest priced rooms in town, but trust me when I say there’s a reason they are the cheapest rates.
I liked the size for the price. For the same price i wouldve spent for a hotel(most likely wouldve spent more for a hotel to be honest) i was able to spend a good chunk of my time with my kids in a comfortable house with a full kitchen and 2 bedrooms. It just felt comfortable and fun with my kids when in a hotel i can tell there is a layer of bordem and they get obviously stir crazy, which i feel the same. So it was pleasant.
Nice hotel with a very good location. We had our dog with us and there were several nice parks to take a walk. One was directly behind the hotel which was nice. The Hotel is Located right near the walking bridge over the Ohio River that links Jeffersonville to Kentucky with a pretty view of the Louisville skyline. Is within walking distance to the town of Jeffersonville. Several restaurants to choose from.
There was nothing that I liked. This hotel is built 50 years ago and has not had an ounce of renovations since then and very little cleaning since then as well. booking.com’s description of breakfast was completely in accurate as well as the description that they had an outdoor pool. Not to mention that every single picture was incredibly filtered and misleading.
The price of my overnight stay did not match the expectations I had for the hotel, the hotel exceeded my expectations which made me feel like the price received was wonderful. The staff was friendly, helpful, and informative about things near the hotel. The location was ideal: quiet, but near business necessities.
The exterior of the hotel was nice and well maintained. The room was spacious, beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of space to set luggage and spread out. The crisis manager, Blake, was wonderful and did a good job of trying to fix the issues we experienced. Joyce, the breakfast lady, was wonderful!
Breakfast was alright, more fresh fruit would have been good. Staff were helpful. We had to keep requesting more towels. The location is very convenient for the Abbey Road Beatles festival. I do like the fact that this hotel is very pet friendly.
this is the second time I have reviewed this excuse for a hotel you are a disgusting company stop bothering me or make it right I was very traumatized by my stay at that PLACE. if your such a good company stand up and respond.
Cleanliness of hotel, inviting interior and exterior atmosphere, quiet surroundings and convenience to restaurants and shopping. The staff was extremely friendly, accommodating and we enjoyed great customer service
This was the 3rd time I have stayed at this location. My son moved down there and the hotel is very close by so I don't get so turned around. So location and price is the only reason I stayed.
It’s really clean and people were really nice helping there as well I really appreciated my stay there room service was excellent and also the hotel lobby looked amazing very clean.
