Don’t stay at this hotel if you require a service animal. I was denied service in the breakfast area because I had a service dog, which is against federal and state laws in the state of Wyoming. The kitchen staff brought me breakfast in the front lobby so that I would not be without even though I was not allowed to eat with my family. Thanks Stevie and Tonia for your service.

This is a bare bones town.
This is a bare bones town. The 3 primary things of interest are fly fishing, hunting and Fossil Butte National Monument. If this fills your areas of interest you will like it. If not - you will want to avoid it. Dining in the local restaurants is functional. The food is ok, but not great.

I didn't see much of Kemmerer, just the Best Western Hotel.
I didn't see much of Kemmerer, just the Best Western Hotel. It was a great place to stay. We did purchase fuel at the quick stop just down from the hotel, name escapes me. It was clean and well lit for two women travelling alone. Sales staff was very nice.

The guest services were extremely helpful and directed us to open restaurants in town when we arrived. In all, this was one of the best hotels we stayed at this summer. The breakfast was also excellent for a hotel breakfast. They even had soy milk as an option. Since I am dairy-free, that was a pleasant surprise.

No smoke smell unlike other hotels. Plus they have a policy that if you do smoke you will get fined. The good smell and cleanliness is a great plus for me. Checking in with the staff was also pleasant. I appreciate people working in the hospitality industry that really do their job right!

It is old, but it is very, very clean and if you are just looking for a quiet place to spend the night, this motel will be perfect. I am always a bit uneasy with older, smaller towns and their motels. However, Kemmerer, WY has a gem for a motel! Great stay and we will stay again!
