Lately hotels along the 95 corridor have taken away the in room phones. In the event of an emergency, It is easier to pick up that phone than to look for my cell phone! Thank you for not pulling in room phones!

I made the Red Roof in Kenly NC my mid way stay between Boston MA and Clearwater FL because it was pet friendly. Turns out there are two Kenly exits along I-95 and the Red Roof is tucked behind the Smithfield Kenly truck stop. That would have been nice to know. So, after going through NY, NJ, PA.... 13 hours later I get to the Red Roof, at the Smithfield exit, I walk up to the office and there is sign on the door that says: "Back in a few minutes." The room had mold going in the AC unit and on the vent in the bathroom. Frankly, I would have slept in my car with cat if I couldn't find the place. But I paid $101 for that room, and if I was a picky person, I would want it all back. Sincerely, Christopher Mark And Btw, I would not recommend the Red Roof in Kenly.

The person at front desk was extremely slow , waited 40 minutes and when I finally spoke to her , they didn’t have what I requested in my booking. Had only one bed available. She asked for an additional $110 dollar , she was rude didn’t care and the people in front of me who booked a room came back to return key they were extremely upset, the room was filthy they stated. It was 1:30 am I slept with my daughter and my tiny dog in my car .I will no recommend this Kenly hotel to anyone…

Fuel pump went on our vehicle while pulling a new travel trailer, we needed a place to stay while the vehicle was fixed, the manager who is a really nice man allowed us to check in at 10am even though check in was 2pm. Told the manager that our new travel trailer was in the Kenly truck stop and he offered to go over and bring it to the hotel parking lot so it was safe. if your looking for the four season resort it may not be a place for you. If your tired and need a safe clean place to stop this will be a pleasant spot.

It was conveniently located off of I-77, very affordable, clean, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. Our kids enjoyed the outdoor pool. Too many hotels these days are using COVID as an excuse to close their pools and not offer complimentary breakfast, but not this one. I would not hesitate to stay there again if we needed to spend the night in that area, which was the home of Andy Griffith and the inspiration for Mayberry.

The Quality Inn Kenly is absolutely the perfect halfway home stop on that long drive up and Down 95. It's very clean and very friendly, and Mary Beth at the desk has the greatest personality. Hot shower, clean sheets, comfy pillows, and free waffles in the morning, brilliant on the basics!

The entire staff was so friendly and accommodating, especially when checking in. Love that they are so pet friendly! There's a nice big field for walkies with your pup. Our room was so clean, no smells. Beds were comfortable. Very safe surroundings.

I liked that it provided us with easy access to the highway. It was a lot more clean than I would’ve expected being such an affordable motel. The property is pretty close to everything in Selma, which is where the person I was visiting is from.

It's exactly what I wanted, a simple hotel that was clean, but without the bells and whistles price. I slept showered, ate and hit the road. everything was good enough without the inflated price tag.
