Very clean. Polite staff. Easy check in and check out. Spacious. Comfortable bed. Modernized bathroom. Parking in front of unit. Plenty of lights and plugs. Refrigerator and microwave. Near to restaurants and grocery. Also, I noticed a lot of wineries in the area, if you're into that. A lot of drawers for clothing but no closet. An area to hand things that was located over the desk. There was a (bonus) table that hides under the desk but you could only use the desk chair with it. I guess you could drag the armchair to it if there were 2 people? But that's typical of hotels anyway. The room was clean, safe and comfortable enough for the price.

The Chef/owner was fun to talk to and he even cooked us dinner (extra charge), but totally worth it since he was an amazing Chef. Staff was great and very nice and the place was beautiful. I would go back another time just to relax and de-stress. It was wonderful and we truly enjoyed it.

We had a large group of moms here for a weekend getaway and it was exactly what we needed! Open concept living/ eating area, large hot tube, plenty of beds and space! 10/10!

This was one of our best stays in our recent trip. The location, on beautiful green forested area, was lovely and quiet. The outdoor space with seating area, fire pit and a table for small meals, was our favorite space. Indoor was also really nice, and the kitchen is well equipped and convenient. Overall - really loved this place, managed to get some peace and quiet.

The Amherst Inn is absolutely lovely. I am 6'1 so my feet hung off the bed and the shower was smaller than usual, to me. Just don't drop the soap! I felt like Snow White waiting for the dwarfs to show up to be honest. Wish there had been an open window to sing along with the birds. No complaints, it was quiet and so cute, little snack bar with a variety of goodies, books to read, a welcome book illustrating the town, restaurants, attractions, and outdoor activities. It's a very cozy little stay. Gas station across the street, dining and grocery store within walking distance as well.
