The place was clean. The room was comfy, the staff was very friendly. I also liked the patio area that you had your own like smoking area. The breakfast was pretty good for a continental breakfast. The location and especially the extreme bar, and Grill was very convenient. The pizza there was so delicious.

Lynden is an old fashion community surrounded by dairy farmland not far from the Canadian border with great views of the Cascades. The whole town is very clean and neat with the historic downtown area a pleasure to see & visit.
There are some excellent eateries scattered about. EdAleen's dairy has the best ice cream I've tasted West of the Mississippi.

I’m glad the hotel is open during the COVID pandemic.
I’m glad the hotel is open during the COVID pandemic. The staff greet you with masks. The room was nice and accommodated my children well. The city if Lynden has not changed much since I went to school. I’m glad the park is still right next to the Darigold buildings. My daughter recognized the brand and was like is this where we get our milk from?

Lynden is a lovely, clean, and people seem very nice. It is obvious that the people who live here have a work ethic and high personal standards. We ate well between Cancun Restaurant and Avenue Bread for our meals.

Lynden is a very cute Dutch-influenced town but it does not always feel very friendly or welcoming to non-white people or outsiders. It is slowly becoming more diverse and open. The Village Books store has added a lot.
Bellingham isn't what it once was. Nowadays all the budget motels are full of transient drug addicts looking for their next fix. Obviously that doesn't make for a peaceful night's rest or a nice facility. But alas! The Windmill Inn in Lynden has yet to be affected by this scourge. I was so happy to find a small, quiet, and peaceful motel to stay for a few nights without having to worry about my car getting broken into or being stabbed for my wallet! It's nothing fancy but the rooms are clean and the price is right.
There was nothing for breakfast. There was not even a person at the front desk after I rang the bell for service when I went in to return our room key. I was hoping to tell them that having a smoke detector that was out of commission was not an acceptable part of a motel room.
What we liked was the location. It was convenient for driving to visit friends and relatives in Lynden.
The Inn at Lynden was great- the facilities were very clean, the style of the inn spot on and the staff super friendly. I wish we had stayed longer- we did have breakfast at Avenue Bread, accessible directly though the lobby whcih was also a great amenity and very tasty! I would have loved to try the tap room also accessible through the lobby, but we arrived to late to stop in!
What’s NOT to like about the property?! It shares the block with the best Lynden has to offer (well, my favorites anyway!) The hotel has such cute bicycles to rent and ride around town if you’d prefer not to drive- the staff is accommodating and friendly AND the lobby has a door into the best sandwich shop!!
We absolutely loved it. Superb good and friendly staff. Really nice rooms. Lynden is a really nice little city that you should visit, it is really walking friendly and has lots a nice little shops. The city itself is worth a trip and this Inn is the place to stay for that.
Our all time favourite hotel. We stay here as often as we can! Terri at front desk is possibly the friendliest human ever. We’ve dealt with her a few times and she is a huge reason we keep rebooking. The coffee in the rooms is one of my favourite things!
The condo was in an ideal location for our travels. Close to restaurants, shops and a short drive to Bellingham. Also, a delightful area to walk in the neighborhoods with lots of flowers and trees. Would definitely stay at this facility again.
The room was clean and comfortable as usual. The price was excellent for a 1 bedroom suite. I always stay here when I go up to Lynden. A great place to relax and enjoy the surrounding small towns. And so close to Canada.
Lovely quaint town , hotel situated right on the Main Street , so very convenient to shops and restaurants.
Staff was great , gave us a room upgrade and we would have stayed another night if we were not moving on.
The rooms are thoughtful and the style of the entire place is very pleasing. Everything about this place is just easy and comfortable. It's refreshing to know that a hotel like this can exist in a small town.
It is older and a bit run-down. But you get what you pay for and if you are in need of an inexpensive motel - you could do worse.
There really is not another option for motels in the Lynden area,
Everything was great! Staff, clean room, furniture in the hotel. You'll find everything you need in the room. Great cafe, taproom and bookstore in the building.
One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at! Staff went above and beyond beyond, rooms are spacious and clean. Excellent experience! Can’t wait to come back!
Situated downtown Lynden which is a very nice Dutch orientated village. Very friendly reception and complimentary basket with snacks and drinks in the room.
