The Staff: Melanie was Great, friendly, courteous, organized. The lobby clean and decorated nicely with blue tones & ocean theme, felt inviting and comfy. This is our 2nd time to stay here. The room good size, bathroom clean, bed comfy, view was Awesome thru window, mini fridge, micro & TV worked Good! The parking, plenty of it and some covered. Even tho The Continental breakfast is small, it was tasty. Loved the location of hotel, convenient walk to yummy restaurants, bakery, shops, Nature Path & Beach. The must do is to walk on the path toward the Morro Rock (a Volcano plug), it has beautiful, flowers, nature (sea otters, habitat birds, squirrels, etc), lovely waves crashing on rocks in front of Morro Rock. Before you get to the Rock, the adult Sea Otters are resting in the water among sea weed, benches there so you can watch & take photos. However, signage reminding folks to Please give the Otters their space and not approach them, just watch from afar! The other side of Rock is a nice beach to hang out (sun bathers, surfers & fisherman). Love this little town, We'll definitely be back to stay at least 2 or more days at the Blue Sail Inn!

The room was big and clean. There are a lot of nice restaurants and cafes nearby. We had a dog travel with us and the staff even prepared a gift bag for us. Also saw a dog washing station in the parking lot.

Loved Morro Bay, but wish we'd had more time to visit other places around the area. Easy walk to shops and restaurants on main street. We especially liked Kickers (Tabitha was awesome), The Great American Fish Company, and Blue Sky Bistro. This was our first trip to the area, but it won't be our last.

Morro Bay is a charming small oceanside town.
Morro Bay is a charming small oceanside town. It is quiet, at least in February when we visited. The sea lions and otters are fun to watch and listen to. There are lots of restaurants and bars to chose from for going out. We loved the wine and beer choices at The Savory Palette. There is live music but not on the night we were there.

We were surprised by the small town.
We were surprised by the small town. Great places to eat and buy souvenirs, but best of all was seeing the otters and their cubs up close. We loved it! There were also some harbor seals on the platforms. Guaranteed fun for animal lovers. We also took a walk to Morro Rock and watched the sandbanks and the waves breaking on the rocks. It was great! We had breakfast at Frankie and Lola's Front Street Cafe. We had lunch at Tognazzinis, dinner at The House of Juju and beer at Three Stacks and a Rock Brewing Company.
Highly recommend this hotel if you’re planning to travel with your pets! It was my first time being in a pet friendly hotel and I had lower expectations but surprisingly the carpets were very clean, the room was extremely spacious. The room also came with an entire kitchen with a table and vintage microwave/fridge and stove with silverware as well. The bathroom was tidy but very clean and in great condition. The room didn’t have any bad odor it was nice and fresh, I really loved the wall decor as well!
I loved everything. The bed was super comfortable and clean. Staff was very nice. I really loved how quiet and peaceful it was. We really loved how loving staff is to pets. My Shih Tzu loved his doggie gift bag that was in the room waiting for him. It had a blanket, treats, a big sweeky toy that my Chewy loved 😍, & they put dog dishes in the rest room. I definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to have a peaceful/relaxing clean, & pet friendly get a way. Thank you Bayfront Inn!!!
This was by far the best hotel I have stayed at while in Morro Bay. The room had everything we needed and was laid out and designed as actual people would use. The plugs all had USB ports and were in every location you could possibly need one. The best of all was the crown light that acted as a mood light in the room. I have never seen this done before and it is absolutely beautiful. This is now our go-to place in Morro Bay. Well done team at Blufftop, you outdid everyone!!
I was a little worried with the hotel being 2 star and 1/3 the cost of our hotel in Monterey but it was perfect for what we needed. Small hotel, easy parking, short walk to the water front and Morro Bay was lovely. Such a chilled out place with plenty choice for restaurants. The room was spacious, modern, minimal and clean. Would recommend! Lovely white bedding and lots of white towels - my kind of clean and fresh!
The room was a perfect size, very big, loved the decor-the black carpet unique and stunning. Loved the art on the walls throughout the hotel. The view of Morro Bay rock was a treat and Im so glad my niece who traveled from across the country got to see the Rock. The beds were very comfortable, lots of pillows, and the temperature was just right. It was very clean and had a wonderful vibe to the place.
Honestly we canceled our previous plans for New Years because the a hotel in SF was rude. One of my EMTs told me about Morro Bay and it was absolutely beautiful! The location was beautiful, the room was great, the hot tub and pool were great, the restaurant was staff was friendly food was great. We were able to check in Early. It was quiet. Everythjng was perfect especially for a last minute trip
Great experience with staff, check in etc. was great. Good location, just at the end of the Morro Bay commercial area- easy to walk to restaurants, etc. Free parking, equipped with elevators, windshield cleaning supplies in parking area. Modern secure door locks, etc.
the checkin was smooth and the room was spacious and clean. The hotel location is very close to the main street with restaurants. we got a quiet room. The breakfast had limited options but sufficient
Nice room with all needed facilities. Air conditioner functioned very well (was not as a matter of course at other hotels:) Very friendly and helpful staff. Good location. Good breakfast.
The room was incredibly clean and comfortable, considered the very low price we paid. Overall, this hotel was the perfect place for a one-night stop of a journey on the road.
Nice linen, good size room. Walking distance to restaurants. Put a Happy Birthday to my husband on marque. We had a view of the water but also of the hotels on the water.
The staff at the hotel was very friendly, the room was clean and super close to parking and in a classic motel style. Perfect for an overnight stay when visiting Morro Bay
