This Texas hotel, 4 miles from Frank Buck Zoo and Oklahoma, features in-room flat-screen cable TVs. La Quinta Inn & Suites Gainesville also has an indoor pool, hot tub and gym.

The pool and hot tub were nice, with the exception of the surface of the hot tub. It was sharp and uncomfortable. My daughter cut her knee on the jagged surface. Breakfast was typical like every other hotel that "serves" breakfast. The room was nice and big. King suits plenty of room to move around. Plenty of snacks are available for purchase. Staff was decent.

Don’t miss stoping at Fischer’s for locally produced meats, baked goods, and canned products. 4R Ranch and Vineyards is worth the trip and has beautiful views from the tasting room.
