1. Very very clean. 2. The staff did kindness of work to the guess, such as shared the recommended restaurants by a paper list. 3. A reasonale price.

We were offered the Hotel as a substitute to a facility in Manhattan. We have not seen much from North Bergen. Originally, we expected we would be much closer to New York where we planned our program.
BUT it is quite convenient that there is a large supermarket (Target) and several fast-food restaurant within walking distance.

North Bergen is a safe neighborhood, it was quiet at night.
North Bergen is a safe neighborhood, it was quiet at night. Living in NJ is the best way to visit New York while having a car. Parkings are tough and expensive in NYC downtown. While you can live here paying less and maybe having a free parking for your car. you'll have shuttles coming and going throughout the day which can take you to Times Square for around (3-7$). but if you're visiting just for NY and you want to enjoy every moment of your day, I'll recommend not renting a car and living in the downtown area while everything is within walking distance from you.

We stayed for roughly a week's stay here.
We stayed for roughly a week's stay here. It's a small town, but it has the basics: food stores, dollar stores, and several other businesses. I felt safe walking around in day, and night. We mainly went to New York using public transportation, but North Bergen was a quiet, quaint, small town.

we found multiple roaches in the room, to which we basically got a shrug when we went to the lobby to tell them. above the night stand was missing a light, and there was this faint clicking noise that was constant throughout the entire stay. in addition all of the vending machines were broken and there was only one small cooler full of lukewarm water. elevators smelled weird.

Many guests we spoke to were going on a cruse so used the hotel as a car park and overnight stay not a place for a vacation stay in our opinion, there is nothing to do in walking distance of hotel so would need a car to get around. The place looked too industrial and very run down in the surrounding area, not a place for a family holiday with kids! You will need to be very fit if walking anywhere from hotel as it is on top of a very steep hill. There are no proper resturants nearby to our hotel, there is a bus stop opposite to get to New York. Wont be staying there again because of location but the staff were fantastic at fairfield hotel and suites by Marriott.

If you want to go to NYC from North Bergen the best option...
If you want to go to NYC from North Bergen the best option is taking public transit, about $3.50-5.10 one way. Due to the bridge tolls an Uber will cost about $35-60 one way. Getting TO New York via bus was very easy HOWEVER, taking the bus from the Port Authority Bus Station was extremely confusing. You have to select a bus (even though you usually have multiple buses that can take you to the same stop) and you also have to pick zones but they can change depending on the bus and not the location of your bus stop.
Nice hotel located not in a very good location but 20-40 min drive from Manhattan. The room was clean but there was a problem with hot water on the last day of our stay. Thanks to the good work of the manager, everything was fixed. Breakfast is available but very monotonous. There was nothing but scramble eggs, stewed vegetables, and potatoes. There is a restaurant but it is open from 6 pm. The air conditioning in the room was too noisy and made it difficult to sleep. But in general, I liked everything. Highly recommend.
Booked a stay here while attending New York Comic Con 2023 and the stay was quite pleasant. The hotel has secured off street parking which is very nice and the area was nice and quite and there was a lot of food places to eat around in the area not in walking distance but any food delivery service (grubhub. doordash, etc) can help mitigate that issue. There was also a shuttle that offered round trip rides to and from the hotel to the convention which was great.
Very comfortable beds and rooms. Very clean. The check in process was easy. We were upgraded to two better rooms upon arrival. The front desk person was very nice. we were given two rooms on the same floor as close as possible - which we appreciated.
The area was not the best for food choices - no fault of the hotel. I was not sure if the restaurant was operating.
Beds were very comfortable, room was clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and there was minimal noise from surrounding area and around hotel. Check in was quick and easy. Ample parking in the hotel parking lot and it was in a great location easy to find.
Rooms are huge and spacious. location of the hotel is great even for those who want to travel to Manhattan by riding a Paterson-Manhattan shuttle for just 3.5 USD per person. It stops within a walking distance from the hotel every 10-15 minutes.
The hotel was newly built and pretty quiet.
Staff was unprofessional and did not know how to deal with the guest. Except they had one CSR name, Asma, who was exceptionally polite and helpful.
Very comfortable hotel, great breakfast buffet, staff keen to help. Bus stop across the road (2 minutes walk). Regular buses into Manhattan, but times get a little tight in the evening...
Hotel room was spacious, equipped with a fridge, microwave, TV, hairdryer, free parking. Clean towels and cleaning of the room every day, free tea and coffee at the lobby all day long.
Booked the room by accident... Thought it was going to be a nightmare but it turned out to be a nice, quiet hotel... Looks are deceiving.
Beautiful bathroom
Clean room
Great staff
The room was clean. Elevator smelled clean. It was a basic hotel, but I didn't like the location. There's alot of construction going on outside of the hotel, which affected parking.
accommodating when i asked for room on first floor due to an injury. room was spacious and fairly clean. hotel was quiet but the location is terrible and hard to get to
Ive been to this hotel many times. the location is the best part. with the shuttle, takes 20 minutes to get to times square. we also always enjoyed the breakfast.
