There was a great view, this was perfect for watching the sunrise and looking out at the ocean!!! The condo was a convenient distance from the beach and the club. The overall look and setup of the condo was very nice! I like that there was an elevator and steps going up to our condo, very convenient. We enjoyed the chairs and tables out on the terrace as well as the view of turtles and fish. The water spicket and attachment at the back of the garage was very helpful. The Yale lock was super convenient. The washer/dryer worked very well and we're so convenient. Overall a nice place to stay.

Ocean Isle Beach is beautiful and offers just the right vibe for a relaxing vacation. Being only about 45 minutes from Myrtle Beach, access to entertainment is easily accessible. We enjoy a little of both when we visit.

The beach is so clean & charming.

The beach is so clean & charming. I met so many people at the pier, on the beach, and in the restaurants. Locals are very friendly & welcoming. There are great restaurants within walking distance. I had a balcony facing the beach, just beyond the parking area. It is a beautiful place to enjoy a truly relaxing vacation, away from it all. It feels like you’re worlds away from Myrtle Beach, but it’s not far at all if you fancy a trip there. It’s perfect!

Ocean Isle Beach is one of our favorite places.

Ocean Isle Beach is one of our favorite places. This is an annual trip for Thanksgiving. The room is clean comfortable and the view is perfect. Wake up to the the ocean birthing the sun. Awesome! We always stay at Ocean Isle Inn when we visit. Very affordable and the staff is friendly helpful and they make you feel right at home. Don’t forget the Christmas boat flotilla…lots of fun. Sharky’s has the best seafood. Grouper bites are the best! Calabash is about 20 minutes away with a nice Christmas shop and lots of great food too. Rise-n-Shine restaurant has good food and reasonable prices. The owners are a great American success story for immigrants. They are the hardest working folks i know and super friendly. It’s where we eat Thanksgiving dinner and breakfast when we visit. Ocean Isle NC…Calabash NC…Ocean Isle Inn. Awesome combination!

    Ocean Isle Beach was great.

Ocean Isle Beach was great. Almost felt like a private island vibe, very low-key quaint beach town. Sharky’s waterfront restaurant on the causeway was fantastic. The service was great and the food was delicious! Also enjoyed the Ocean Isle Fish Market, great view from the tiki bar upstairs and good food.

    Ocean Isle is a gem.

Ocean Isle is a gem. Usually stay in North Myrtle Beach, but with all the reports of trouble in the main areas of Myrtle decided to try something different. Not a ton of activity like MB, but just what we were looking for. A quiet, peaceful getaway after all the of the so called "Covid" stuff. And Ocean Isle fit the bill! Great restaurants and shopping nearby. Beach is wide and clean. Met several repeat visitors the Ocean Isle. And I'm certain we'll go back soon.

To be frank, I’ll be planning another trip.

To be frank, I’ll be planning another trip. Ocean isle is a colorful coastal area that has me thinking back to some of the cruise terminals I’ve been through like those in Nassau or the keys. The area around it is still developing and has not been over commercialized like other Carolina beaches. The beach is not the best I’ve seen but I’ve been fortunate enough to see those in Aruba and not much compares to the postcard view one sees there, I’d say it’s slightly above average for a Carolina beach just, just less populated. Nothing seems to be open on Sunday, don’t know if that’s a local thing or just the time of year I went.

We stayed at the Islander Inn in the off season. The rate was fantastic. The hotel is right on the beach and you walk from you room across the parking lot, and you're there. We didn't have an ocean front room, but our room had a fantastic view of the Intracoastal Waterway. The room was large and well appointed. It was mostly quiet. And the beach is beautiful. Calabash is a close drive for good restaurants.

The room was very nice with comfy beds. Typical hotel type room. Facility has larger dorm size refrigerator with a microwave in room also. Hair dryer was provided. View was spectacular! We actually saw 7 deer grazing from our balcony, right on the beach! As far as distance to the beach, it is literally steps. Facilities were clean. Location was quiet and felt safe.

Breakfast was a big disappointment. We have stayed here about 5 or 6 times and breakfast was always just basic. Now, with he hotel fully booked, even the basic weren’t really available. We came down just before 9 o’clock and most of the food was gone. No more breakfast biscuits, no fresh fruits, just waffles or bread with jelly.

The hotel is very clean and well- maintained. We've stayed here many times, and have never had an issue with anything during our stays. And that is saying a lot for a building this size, right on the ocean!

Ocean Isle Beach is beautiful! The property was disappointing. It was waterfront without any water/beach views from inside. If I would have known, I would have rented a different property.
