Comfortable and peaceful location. Went for a short holiday getaway. My son played on the tire swings and enjoyed exploring. Dog friendly too. Staff attentive and friendly. Plan on returning.

The cabin was rustic but comfortable. Kitchen had full stove and fridge and basic dishes and pots. The location was ideal; quiet but close enough to services and a short drive to Anza Borrego. The bar just down the hill was wonderful too; friendly and cozy, with live music and food on the weekend (Josie's Hideout). My cabin had a fun wood stove as well as regular heat.
I highly recommend if you're looking for a Backcountry retreat.

The home was much larger and more beautifully decorated than we expected. And the host left us a loaf of bread and butter! Do you know how much we appreciated a warm buttered toast after flying all day? The setting was ideal and picturesque. So quiet with no one to bother us in a lovely rural setting. In addition to the 3 large bedrooms there is full-size family room plus a full size living room, so plenty of room for everyone. Wifi worked great. Everything in top-notch working order. And military-grade clean!
