Casa Paloma 1 - Artsy Studio with Hot Tub Access!, hotel in Patagonia

This apartment features air-conditioned accommodations with a patio.

The location was great and the grounds were very nice. Unfortunately it was raining a lot of the time we were there so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoor amenities and grounds. The bed was comfortable and the casita was decorated nicely with beautiful murals on the outside walls. Cute, cozy place!

This is a great place to stay in southern AZ. Lots of history and beautiful nature. The food was delicious at 'Gathering Grounds.' I make a point to visit when in town. Coffee is wonderful and so is the food. The local residence frequent this place. There are different options of places to stay. You will find Arizonians love this place

A must on any birding trip to the area, having a great birder's hotel (Spirit Inn) and hummingbird feeders (the old Paton's feeders). in easy travelling distance. Also a good location for visiting other hotspots such as California Gulch.

We enjoyed the proximity of our B and B to the town of Patagonia. Not much to actually see there except perhaps Patagonia Lake State Park. They said there was bird watching but we were too late in the day - the butterflies were awesome. Staying in Patagonia allowed us an opportunity to visit places close by: Sonoita, Nogales AZ, Nogales Mexico, some Wineries, Sierra Vista, Ramseys Canyon, and some interesting back road drives. We went to The Flying Leap winery. The wine tasting was expensive at $23 per person. The wine was just ok - We didn't go to another winery. We had dinner in Patagonia at the Wagon Wheel, simple bar food. Tacos in Nogales AZ at Tacos and Tarros....there are many other options in Nogales but this was where we ended up. The Copper Brothel in Sonoita had some interesting Mexican food and their custom beers were a nice treat. We also ate in Sierra Vista at La Casita Mexican food. A real treat at an old family restaurant. Great Ice Cream at The Corner Scoop in Sonoita.

It was easy to get around Patagonia and we ate downtown and had the Friday night Fried Fish. It was wonderful and filling. Then we stayed at the Spirit Inn B&B. It was very peaceful and relaxing. They have a bird sanctuary where we watched birds and hummingbirds feed at dawn. Then a wonderful breakfast from a chef who years ago cooked at the reknowned Tack Room in Tucson. Very caring people that went out of their way to be hospitable.

Patagonia is a small, close knit community. There is plenty of things to do from bird watching to fishing on the lake. Locals are friendly and always seem to be smiling. There are a couple of places to eat a good meal and maybe, throw back a beer!

You can walk all over town from this location.

You can walk all over town from this location. A big park is directly across the street, to walk your dog, or just sit in the shade and enjoy some quiet time. There is a little general store across the road to get some basic things. The pizza place called The Velvet Elvis is very good! Also, there is a bakery, saloon, coffee shop and an organic food store.
