Bigger than I thought. Most everything is located on or near main street, bar, restaurants. Not too much in outlying areas.Great civic center for concerts.Disapponted in hotel prices seem excessively high in town. That alone would keep me from coming back to visit and spend more time there.People there friendly, spoke to a few for info but a lot of new Flux of individuals who were not familiar with Peoria so not very helpful on directions and restaurants and bars to check out during my stay of those that I ask for inquiry.Ate at a Mexican restaurant food was good.Getting around Peoria was ok using map quest.Would avoid downtown hotels, their prices were obscene.

The room was filthy and the guest services were very rude. I took pictures, they wanted to charge us more for another room. We called the police because they refused to refund us our monies after we saw the room and chose not to stay. I wouldn’t recommend this place or booking.com

We visited a museum downtown, went to the IVY Club for dinner and drove around exploring. We lived in the area for 5 years back in the mid 80s and wanted to see the changes that had taken place. We didn’t have a lot of time to do much else. Maybe we will return for another visit.

Beautiful small city, easy to navigate (except one of the bridges across the Illinois River was closed for construction.) Several beautiful old homes and historic attractions, relaxing views of the river. Bradley University located there. Excellent highway access and decent proximity to Chicago, St. Louis and other major cities. Overall a very nice city.
The hotel is located right across the street from the Peoria Civic Center. We came to town for a concert and all we had to do was walk across the street. Parking is included and not a separate cost. Lots of breweries and restaurants located within walking distance. Also, they serve a nice hot breakfast in the morning!
The staff, the new regional manager. She was great! Gave me an upgraded room; however, the suite had a stench my daughter and I could not fathom, and the double bed room, cleanliness was again an issue. We made it through the night and appreciated the upgrade. I couldn’t complain for their efforts.
This is the most disgusting place I have ever seen. The smell was of Pot and cigarettes! The room was horrible. We immediately went back to the lobby and get a refund! It was a horrible place! shame on Red Roof Inn to allow this place in Peoria! We felt very unsafe!
Comfy. Very accommodating. Very clean. Room large with all the amenities. Bed& pillows comfy. Breakfast items good. 😋 Larger TV screen than most hotels. Affordable prices. Perkins & Mexican restaurants right next to hotel. Perfect stop after long travels.
Nice clean hotel in a nice area right next door to bass pro. Beds were comfy and rooms were clean. I would stay here again if I were to visit Peoria in the future. Nice quite area not far from our venue.
We liked the fun little Loose Moose bar a great deal and appreciated how close the hotel was to Jonah's Seafood Restaurant. The room (Superior king with sofa) was spacious and comfortable.
It felt like I stepped back in time when I stepped inside the hotel. In a good way. It was very beautiful. My room had an amazing view of the bridge. It was clean and quiet, just right.
