We absolutely loved our 5 night stay in this little gem!
Set in the beautiful redwood forest, with amazing walking tracks in Spring surrounded by redwoods with beautiful Giant wake robin, Lily of the valley, Iris and forget-me-not’s along the way.
The cabin had almost everything needed for a 5 night stay (no washing machine, but we coped!). The blue jays came knocking at the skylights, asking to be acknowledged and the deer, squirrels and lizards checking out the unsuspecting visitors.
Just great to curl up in front of the fire with a book after a busy day. Thank you!

Room was comfortable and convenient for my pet. Breakfast was simple, but tasty and well prepared. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub and the fire pits outside. Really nice spaces to relax.

Love the artichoke bread at the grocery store, Duarte's artichoke soup, and the eggnog at Christmas time. Beautiful small town to just leisurely walk around. Only a few miles from the lighthouse.

Pescadero was just right. I had been there twice before.
Pescadero was just right. I had been there twice before. We had our meals during the 2 days in the area there. The Taqueria for dinner and Horchatas, the Bakery for lunches and take home bread, the coffee shop for coffee and snacks. The little shops, the second hand store and the many walks there were just right for us. We also visited Butano State Park the 2 days there. We loved the hikes, the redwoods, serenity, the creeks, the 4 bridges, meeting Ranger Tim, who gave us a historical of the Lighthouse and the ships that have sunk in it's waters. We visited the Gazos Creek beach and Pescadero Beach. My grandson had a blast there.
