Such a beautiful surprise! The house is special, artsy with some vintage flair. Our room was huge and delightfully decorated. The hosts were friendly, engaging and also gave us our privacy. They brought us champagne and snacks while we enjoyed the jacuzzi. Coffee, tea and little snacks were always available. And it was all right in the middle of the desert—so we had natural beauty in the landscape around us. ❤️

The house was as clean as a 4-star hotel. It was especially convenient as it had 3 toilets and 2 bathtubs, and the bed sheets were clean. It is 15 minutes away from Joshua Tree National Park West entrance and close to McDonald's and the supermarket.

The house is roomy and clean. The views from front and back are to die for morning and night. I found myself in the back, always looking for wildlife no matter what time of day. There are plenty of sheets towels and a fully stocked, super clean house. All amenities are great. Washer and dryer are perfect when traveling with a little one. Our granddaughter (3) loved the yard and the trail out back and the games. I was in heaven with the record player, which reminds me of my youth.
I will look for this property again. we take a vacation to Palm Springs twice a year, and this is a perfect spot to go back and forth. Thank you, Ms. Hill for such an amazing place and such a perfect home. We will cherish our memories there ❤️

Much better than what I expected. Good club house with kid friendly facilities and convenient food and drink amenities. Club house was open till very late as well. Caravan itself was very nicely decorated, and the facilities were akin to a hotel room. Very unique experience indeed.
It’s such a cool place. You go back in time in the western movie set street. Great restaurants (Pappy and Harriet’s, with cool band performances every now and then too) with amazing food and drinks. The desert is just magical. Breathtaking sunsets and the best place for quiet stargazing

This was an incredible place to spend the night near Joshua Tree! The history of the place makes it feel extra special and the luxury soaps, linens, and immaculately decorated spaces (both indoor and out) will leave you feeling special too. Loved staying here and hope I get to come back soon!

Quaint and quirky off the beaten track location, perfect for relaxation and reflection. The old film set was interesting although not very well presented, it needed more information about the sets, although the history could be accessed by asking at the saloon, which is the hub of the town, serving a good selection of food and drinks.

Location was great and motel was very quite.
Location was great and motel was very quite. National park was our main reason for visit. Area was promoted as artist colony but very little access to local artists. Remember to bring your own pillows

We were only there for one night.
We were only there for one night. It is located on an old film set where they used to film westerns in the 1940's. The rooms were comfy and clean. Not for those seeking excitement and night-life (it is miles from the "bright lights" and any city), but a wonderful place for a short stay on the edge of the desert. Lovely, friendly staff. We were very pleased to have found it. The only eatery within walking-distance is a saloon-style restaurant a few yards from the rooms, which served excellent food and had an excellent band playing....it seemed like all the locals turned up for this, so check in advance to book tickets, because they were sold out when we arrived.
