The size of the room and the location is what attracts me to the Westhaven Inn. The staff is always friendly and helpful. It is located in the middle between Sacramento and Lake Tahoe and very close to Apple Hill and Placerville!

The property was gorgeous, and our little cabin was so cosy! The bed was extremely comfortable, and our hosts left a little basket of snacks for us as well as bathrobes for us to use. The cabin was clean and well taken care of. Hearing the frogs at night was enchanting. We loved that we could enjoy being in the woods but at the same time we were close to downtown Placerville. - This was exactly the little anniversary getaway we had hoped it would be. I would definitely recommend this place and may book it again for our anniversary next year!

Pollock Pines is a beautiful mountain town!
Pollock Pines is a beautiful mountain town! It is located in the middle between Sacramento and South Lake Tahoe. It is only 8 miles to historic Placerville and even closer to Apple Hill and Jenkinson Lake. Jenkinson Lake is a beautiful lake with good fishing and boating. Apple Hill is a great place to visit and get some fresh hot apple doughnuts. You could stay here and relax in quiet mountain town with fresh air knowing you are close to so many things to do!Hornsby

The rooms are huge and clean. The staff always remembers us and is so friendly. The location is great. 2 miles to our daughter and granddaughter's house and close to Placerville, Apple Hill, and 50 minutes to Lake Tahoe and Sacramento. The mountains are beautiful and peaceful. Also Jenkinson Lake is only about 5 minutes away. There is so much to do up there but the rooms are so huge and comfortable that you can relax as well!HornsbyUnited States of America

The hotel is older but the rooms are spacious and have been updated with new flooring. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Good location tucked away in a residential part of town, but only a few minutes from restaurants, Safeway, and the freeway. The location is perfect for us to be close to our family when we visit. Only 10 minutes to Placerville, 50 minutes to Sacramento and 45 minutes to South Lake Tahoe. Rooms are large and include a microwave and coffee pot. They also have a room with a walk-in shower which made showering much easier for my mother-in-law in the room we reserved for her. The hotel is not what I expected, it was beyond my expectations for cleanliness. The staff the helped for breakfast was there to make sure there was enough food and coffee was excellent, not having to ask. I can't say anything bad for our stay, LOVED it. You don't get staff that treat you like family anymore and that is how we all were treated, LOVED LOVED everything
