Americas Best Value Inn Polson, hotel in Polson

Overlooking Flathead Lake, this Montana hotel offers rooms with free WiFi. Glacier National Park is 90 miles north east of this hotel.

The breakfast was good but no eggs, bacon, etc. The staff people were excellent, They let us take all the snacks we wanted for our fishing trip for the day. We were only 2 blocks from the boat ramp so we were right there to fish in the morning. The room was clean and warm and nice. Awesome views of Flathead lake and the Mission Mountains. Walking distance to the casino which didn't matter to us but was a nice place to go for a cocktail and view the lake and mountains from the top deck. We will definitely come back.

Polson is a picturesque and quiet town, with plenty of views of Flathead Lake. If you're young and want more excitement, you're better off in Kalispell, but if you're older or want less traffic and more quiet, Polson is for you.

Polson is a nice small town.

Polson is a nice small town. We were attending a wedding so that's why we stayed there. It's only one hour away from Kalispell which is a wonderful place to visit with the Glazier National park not far so why not just stay there? There was a error in our booking which cost us another nights stay that we did not use. The manager could clearly see that there was a error but refused to change. That kind of soured the stay. We have a large family and all stayed there for more than two days so a big financial bonus to the hotel in the off season. The hotel itself is nice and breakfast was served.

    Flathead Lake is lovely.

Flathead Lake is lovely. Great place to stay awhile, wish we could have explored the area more. Lots of info about the area was provided on check-in. Cherry Festival, museums, Native American culture, panning for sapphires and jewelry shopping nearby, hiking, water activities, good restaurants. The Tum Kha at the Thai restaurant down the street was incredible and the cappuccino from the nearby drive through was amazing.

The town is pretty but finding a place to eat was a trial.

The town is pretty but finding a place to eat was a trial. One place we were going to eat at was closed before their stated hours said they would close. Another we tried was slow to acknowledge us, then told us it would be about an hour wait. Why not tell us that as soon as we walk in? Another place ignored us for about 5-10 min. then told us we needed reservations or could sit outside (90+degrees outside-no thank you). Again, why not tell us this right away? We finally went back to the motel and had a pizza delivered.

We really do like Polson and are seeking to move there as soon as we can get our house sold. Also Betty's Diner is right next door with a great gluten free menu and great service, sadly our waitress will be gone when we visit again

Nice country feel, close to the National Bison Range and the St.Ignatius Mission -- both of which we enjoyed seeing. We'd have spent more time but a storm was headed that way and we were not adequately prepared for snow.
