The maid we met was super nice, and very professional.
My wife wanted a water one night drink machines did not take a debit card, no cash. Asked at front desk for options? Scott night associate offered me $2.00 to buy a water, I refused his generosity, but Scott said take it, it's no big deal. I said okay, but told him I would pay it back before I checked out.
At check-out I gave Ester $2.00 to give to Scott. She put the cash in an envelope and told me she would staple it to his time card.

The front desk staff Rob was wonderful at check in, he made it very easy for us to book an extra night and was very kind! The room over all was not bad, they did advertise that they had remodeled but I was unsure of what was done to the rooms, the walls were a bit dirty and could have been wiped down a bit more, the shower also still had some soap residue around the drain but nothing major. For the price we paid it wasn't to bad. Would probably stay again.
Great little town just outside of Fort Payne. Just miles from tons of hiking, biking, and camping areas. About 30 minutes from Little River Canyon National Preserve and 45 minutes from Desoto State Park. Tons of good places to eat. Also not far from Scottsboro and Guntersville. Great fishing and boating spots!

The Check in was great the young lady behind the desk was extremely helpful. Once I walked into the room I was immediately disappointed in the maintenance of it. The first thing you see is the drapery distressed and not hung properly and the inside pair tore to shreds. Going into the bathroom didn’t make me feel much better. There is a very poorly patched area on the wall, under that is missing tiles. The bathtub faucet has a constant trickle out of it that you can’t shut off and the shower curtain was torn off the rod. There two clocks in the room but neither were set at the correct time, not a big deal but when you are coming from a different time zone it’s helpful. I’m including pictures so you can see what I’m talking about. These are things I would expect in a flea bag hotel not a quality hotel, like yours. I wrote to the manager and the response I got from him was that the condition was all because of Covid-19.
