This is a beautiful historic hotel with stunning grounds. We had a view of the gardens and bridge behind the hotel. Dinner in the restaurant was delicious. Our server was friendly and made our experience a lot of fun. Staff was all friendly and welcoming. I wish we could have stayed longer. Great place to stay if you are exploring the Redwoods.

Redwoods River Resort & Campground, hotel in Redway

Redwoods River Resort & Campground features a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, shared lounge, a restaurant and bar in Leggett.

Nice place to stay, rooms are clean, My Wife & I was in #6 lower level. I especially liked the Mariner decor inside the room. It comes with a kitchenette, fully stocked pots & pans, utensils, and the like. Gas range top/oven, nice countertop w/bar & 3 bar-stools. Atmosphere is quiet and welcoming at the same time. The brisket sandwich and taquitos at the on-site Pub were delicious, friendly bar tender and locals we shared time with, and front Office/Store Staff, as well. Looking forward to a summer return to enjoy a swim in the river and on-site pool, and maybe a chance at the on-site Karaoke night.

Redway is a small country town in the hills with a few good restaurants. There is an RV park nearby and the hotel is next to a Shell station! There is nothing much to see in Redway, but the Avenue of the Giants is just a few miles away - not to be missed. It is also close to the 101 so makes for a good break in a long journey.

Redway is a nice place to stay while travelling.

Redway is a nice place to stay while travelling. It is nestled about 2 miles west of hwy 101, just south of the breathtaking Avenue of Giants and north of Richardson Grove State Park. There are some really good places to eat in Redway and nearby areas....including french and mediteranean. As well, there are lots of hiking, water activities, fishing etc. Its a great time.
