There’s a lot of allure to the Read House. When researching where to stay for a business trip, the photos online stand out and I was curious to explore this hotel. They have a beautiful lobby, ball rooms and hallways. My room was very spacious and quiet. The parking valet was quick and convenient. That being said, I want to end this on a good note. The restaurant is very nice and classy. Alan, the bartender is a wonder of the world. He was full of great stories and service. Coming here to see him makes it all worth it. It was nice to have a warm pool as an option and an operating gym in a historic hotel, which isn’t common. Definitely a good 4/5 in my experience but I imagine others would definitely give a 5/5.
