The bed was so comfy and the room was a nice size. Very relaxing except for the noise from the bar next door. Loud music which caused falling asleep harder.

This property was great. Perfect for the solo traveler or couple. It has everything you need. There were plenty of dishes, coffee maker, microwave, stove, fridge, hair dryer, towels, soap, washer and dryer, tv, sliding doors in the living room and bedroom to the small deck. There is a view of the ocean although slightly obscered by the house between it and the ocean. There is a path and stairs, which could use a little tlc, that leads down to the beach where very few, if any, people were. The location is just south of the airport and the Aquarium so convenient to the waterfront, south beach, Yaquina Bay lighthouse and park or south a little ways to Seal Rock/Waldport. The area was very quiet and cozy. The house also has a gas fireplace for those chilly nights or just to cozy up. The rate was extremely reasonable and no major fees. I will definitely stay again if it's available. The staff was very attentive and checked in a couple of times to make sure I was able to get in ok with the code and to see if there was anything else I needed.

Quirky, unique and spacious, we found the Green House to be both comfortable and servicable for our multi-generational group with pets. The property was clean and pretty well equipped. 2 bedrooms and 2 baths on main upper floor accessible by ramp for 81 yr young mil. 3 bdrms, laundry and ping pong downstairs for the younger bunch. The beach itself is amazing and accessible over 2 small sand dunes. A small fenced back yard area with gate is a nice thing with pets. There was a bigger propane bbq at facility than shown, but we did not use. We thought we saw a pizza oven in the photos, but it is actually another fireplace (4 total). We would stay here again. Management company was very responsive and welcoming - thank you! 😊
Rooms feature cable TV. A free continental breakfast is provided daily. Free Wi-Fi is provided in all guest rooms at the Waves of Newport. A microwave and small fridge are also included.

This is a great house and could be an amazing rental with minimal effort. Unfortunately, it was not a great visit due to dirty sheets on one bed, non-functioning shower/tub in one bathroom, no pans to use in the oven (plenty of fry pans for stove-top), no cable/satellite TV. I contacted Vacassa immediately via text upon discovering each issue, and they promptly texted me back that they would reach out to the "local team" to correct my situation. There was no contact from local team and no resolution of any issue. I'm pretty easy to please, but all these things added up to an extremely disappointing stay - not to mention it was over the July 4th holiday so the rates were triple the normal rate. I will avoid Vacassa rentals in the future if at all possible. The house is in a great location. We loved Luna Sea Seafood and Seal Rock State Park.

Seal rock is a hidden gem!
Seal rock is a hidden gem! It's just past Newport so It's not as busy, but there is still a great little bakery, a place for ice cream and a few local shops for gifts. The beach access off Curtis drive was awesome! Just a park and a short walk, loved it!

Seal Rock isn't big or touristy which is nice if you want a quiet trip. The beaches are some of the prettiest along the Oregon Coast and have some of the best tide pools when the tide is out. Do go to the coffee shop. They have good pastries too.

Great, wide-open beaches, with spectacular rocky headlands.
Great, wide-open beaches, with spectacular rocky headlands. Newport and Yachats are close by, as are several state beach parks. This part of the Oregon Coast is beautiful, with fewer people and lots of natural beauty.

There isn't a lot to do in Seal Rock itself, but there's plenty of beautiful sights & then there's lots to do in neighboring cities. We have special diets, so finding restaurants with food for us was a bit challenging, but with a little research, we did fine!
