Staff very friendly and helpful. Location quiet and easily accessible. Most well known, brand name, and higher priced motels should take example of this business. If most motels were as clean, comfortable, and afffordable as this one, we'd do more traveling

We had never been to Sky Valley.

We had never been to Sky Valley. Lots to do there, e.g., golf, but the weather did not cooperate. The views were great, when it was not pouring down rain, with heavy fog. We were there to attend a birthday celebration, so we had most meals in the cabin. We had planned to have dinner in Highlands, but stayed in, due to heavy rain. It was better just to relax at "home." That would not have been as comfortable in a hotel room.

Guess you could take walks. We don't golf.

Guess you could take walks. We don't golf. You have to get in a car to go to level ground for walking unless you are younger and a hiker. We ate in the apartment. There was no information on places to eat, but we were familiar with area and knew where all kinds of places were. Next time, would avoid staying in a place that looks good in pictures but doesn't measure up to standards we have when we got there and saw how tiny it was. Also, will not stay in a place that is below another occupied space when there is no sound barrier. Certainly not a first class place to stay....sorry, but that's the truth!

Favorite spots: The casino in Cherokee, Cherokee itself (...

Favorite spots: The casino in Cherokee, Cherokee itself (check out the indian museum) the Dillard House, Osage farms with its fresh vegetables. This alone is worth the trip. Veggies picked early in the morning and taken right to market. Also, the falls. Maps with directions are available. The Cottage restaurant right there in Dillard proved to be the best place to eat. The food and the service are excellent. They also have a great gift shop. Getting around Sky Valley is a little challenging until you've driven it a few times -- it gets easier.

Great area, secluded but near lots of shops and dining.

Great area, secluded but near lots of shops and dining. Cabin was good, but a couple things needed just a bit of attention. A couple outside lights needed replaced for ease of night entry and the rocking chairs on the deck were worn, so couldn't be used, but the cabin was very clean and well appointed. We enjoyed our short stay. We didn't get to partake in much due to our restrained schedule.
