We hiked with small children so our 2 nights were plenty to see what was attainable. If it were just me and my husband we would've liked to stay much longer. The food is somewhat expensive but is very good so just expect to pay AND be satisfied.

When you vacation to Slade be aware of the fact that the small town has a lot of rock climbing and hiking trails. It’s not commercialized and you’ll feel one with nature. Slade is very easy to travel through for activities. We have visited Slade three times for trail hiking and Torrent Falls Via Ferreta rock climbing. We are at our cottage and at Miguel’s Pizza for breakfast & lunch. I love sitting outside Miguel’s and watching the younger generation moving around behind the restaurant getting their camp in order so they can get out and rock climb. I feel safe at Miguel’s. Excellent food. You get a lot for the price. We stayed at a campground, 5star cabins and a cottage at Natural Bridge State Park. Each place served us well.
