The third party who I booked with advertised 24 hour shuttle when I arrived at 23:10 they said that it only runs until 23:00 very disappointed.I had to call Uber at an extra cost.Definitely didn’t meet my expectations.

Long story short, the staff was exceptionally polite, everything was clean, and the kitchenette was functionally above what was expected. There are quirks of the Marriott brand standards which I don't like (soft gel pillows being the worst, random abstract art, breakfast was inconsistent quality) but these are not the fault of the individual location's management and I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning to stay in the area.

Sterling is very close to the international Airport Washington Dulles and has its own metro station connecting it both to the airport and to downtown DC. There are shopping facilities and nice parks close by. It is 8 miles from the famous Smithsonian Udvar Hazy aircraft museum.

Sterling is a convenient staging point for Dulles Airport. Nice enough town, some nice shops (the Wegman's is impressive on all levels - great selections of good foods/wines) and restaurants. Nice dog park, just bring your own doggie water bowl if you don't already.

We asked to switch rooms and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are fine but they have picnic benches outside the rooms at the back on the left side ground level where people sit with their ghetto blasters, laughing and talking loudly... poorly thought through. When we switched rooms one of the guests cursed at us and told us to get lost though we totally were minding our own business. We didn't have the safest feeling.

The Dulles Marriott Airpot Hotel is just the right hotel for the Airport. Extremely friendly staff, food excellent, more than comfortable beds, easy check in and out and a free shuttle service. What is not to like! Quick note for all - Do not confuse with the Dulles Marriott Suites.

I booked two rooms and paid on my credit card.
I booked two rooms and paid on my credit card. When I got there they only gave me one room booking.com was paid by me but Candlewood suites was only paid for one room so I had to put my party in another place somewhere else because the matter did not get cleared up until 11 PM when I no longer needed the extra room I was told I would be refunded my money for the extra room which I am still waiting for
it was absolutely immaculate! I have traveled extensively around the world and have never stayed in a cleaner hotel. As soon as you step into the lobby, the whole place smells fresh, and that continues to the rooms. There was none of that “hotel carpet” smell at all. it is a slightly older hotel, but they have kept it in pretty good shape, and I would rather stay in a slightly older, spotless hotel than a new dirty one! Also the gentleman at the front desk was super friendly.
The hotel is close to Washington Dulles which is convenient - especially with the complimentary shuttle service. The shuttle only runs to midnight (we had to uber to the hotel since we arrived later than that). The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very decent, more than enough to stay one night at. We were surprised that the breakfast was also complimentary, booking.com didn't mention that.
Good location close to the airport, which was the key factor for us. Based on the ratings (i.e. around 7/10), the room met our expectations, even though some of the furniture was getting fairly well worn. Note, however, the bed was very comfortable and the room was clean, so this hotel "ticked all of the important boxes" for us for a one-night stay by the airport.
We stayed here 2 nights 3 days. Room is spacious as well as the bathroom. Did not eat breakfast but saw that it was buffet style however restricted items due to covid. No complaints. That's understandable. Overall good experience, if you want Room cleaning services, front desk has to schedule it.
Pet friendly hotel.
Nice staff.
In the middle of nowhere but great for the airport. Good shuttle service. Simple and clean hotel for a night before flying out. Staff was helpful to get another room as the first room we were given was vey noisy from electrical equipment. Second room was good, far away from the central lift area. Aircon was also not too noisy and cool.
I always stay at Hampton Inns because they are uniformly clean, quiet and comfortable. This one was no exception. I actually liked the fact that there was no daily service in the room. My only suggestion would be to stock more toiletries and coffee service.
There were printing services and laundry facilities available. The room was large and clean and there was also a restaurant/pub at the hotel nextdoor. It was easy to find and most of the staff were friendly. They also provided a shuttle to the airport.
This was a last minute stay for us. The shuttle was quick to pick us up at the airport! Check-in was easy and quick after a LONG day of travel. The room was clean and the bed and pillows were the most comfortable that I have had in a hotel in ages!
House keeping forgot to clean the bathroom. It was obviously a man, (the toilet seat was up). Dirty towels on the floor, coffee maker used and then I ended up with bed bug bites. As a hotel owner,(I have a hotel in Florida), I was not impressed.
This is a great option if you need to stay close to Dulles airport. The room was comfortable and spacious. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet. There was a kettle with tea and coffee and a microwave in the room.
Convenient for the airport without paying airport hotel prices.
It was fine for us as we landed from the UK at night and just needed a place to stay before collecting hire car in the morning.
Breakfast was great! Location was excellent! Eric, overnight front desk person, was the most professional and welcoming front desk person at ANY hotel I have been to! WOW!
I was denied my room and still charged because the hotel no longer had available rooms due to air conditioning issues.
I was never given a call ahead of time either.
