The location was great, very close to the park and conveniently located to store and restaurants. Very cute and comfortable with everything you need for a couple nights stay. The outdoor setting behind the hut was very nice.

This is a lovely little find very close to the Sequoia National Park entrance! My daughter and I enjoyed having separate rooms, since I tend to be an earlier riser. The space was beautifully decorated and there were games that we enjoyed after a long day in the park. I loved being able to have my tea on the porch in the mornings while watching the woodpeckers, and at night we both enjoyed stargazing (although be sure to bring your bug spray, mosquitos are abundant, which is to be expected!). Directions and instructions were clear and easy to follow, and I appreciated NOT having to do a bunch of chores (like stripping the beds, running the dishwasher, taking out the garbage) before we left. Beds were very comfortable. The hosts had a binder of suggestions for local dining/shopping, which was very helpful. Highly recommned this little gem. We will stay again the next time we're in the area.

The property was amazing - the outdoor kitchen was 1st class, as were the grounds and the domes, themselves. Everything was meticulously clean and extremely comfortable- especially the bed! Scott communicated all information and answered our questions - usually within minutes. We visited with another retired couple and found the property easy to navigate. You can tell a lot of thoughtfulness went into the design of the facility. We all agreed we’d love to come back a spend a few days.
Located close to Sequoia National Park, we booked dinner at the Peaks restaurant at Wuksachi Lodge- about an hour away. The ride up was beautiful and inspiring.

Nice little community right outside the southern sequoia entrance. Perfect if you’re looking for somewhere quiet to stay with very nice people. The area has nice places for lunches, coffee, and gas but the nearest grocery store is at least 15 miles away.

The original room was horrible, I was stunned they would even offer it to us. Back door had air gap letting cold air in, no deadbolt on it. Old flooring in living room, carpet in bedroom was soaked. They moved us to another room, smaller, 2 beds. No apology or refund (they also overcharged us $30 for a 2nd night). I’ve attached pictures of the new room . Bathroom shower needs serious repairs and the ceiling is shoddily repaired. Ac/heater unit is ancient and loud. Only way to turn off bed light is to unscrew the bulb. Other bulbs are burnt out. It appears the hotel is hanging on by a thread. Should be banned from booking.com. Not up to standards by any means

Hotel has great potential but cleanliness of my room was a great disappointment. Even after raising our concerns they were not fully addressed.
Pizza place just down the road was surprisingly good.
Although the heart of Sequioa NP is only 30 miles away, it takes at least one hour because of a very steep, narrow and winding road. Elevation gain is over 4,000 feet.

It's a beautiful spot for one night. Unfortunately Sequoia Nat'l Park had a few road closures and much of the park was off limits.
We stayed and ate at the Gateway Inn which is close to the entrance.

Beautiful small town with tons of unique local joints to check out! Sadly we were only in the area for two days to visit the national parks, but I wish we had another day or two to check out the town itself. Everyone we met was super friendly and the food and drink options were refreshing after trekking around Sequoia and Kings Canyon all day.

Three rivers is a very charming town to drive through on the way to the majestic Sequoia park, but what thing to really keep in mind is what season you go. I have been through Three Rivers more than a 10 times as a traveler from Los Angeles so I know.
The most breathtaking time to go is early spring, March to April because everything turns into emerald green and the waterflow is abundant, specially noteworthy is when you first see the snow capped mountains of the Sequoia park. Anytime after June all the way to October, everything looks kind of dry and it gets very hot and touristy.
In Winter - Nov through March, you will most likely have to put chains on your tires and it's a bit more hazardous driving through the curved roads going up to the mountain. Also it gets very cold and many of the trails become alot tougher to walk on. Just keep in mind, that during winter, it's a calculated risk driving even with snow chains, one slip up and your car can easily fall off a cliff. Henceforth, I have mostly avoided going in winter time, buy hey don't let me stop you if feel like a daredevil.
Go during March or April, you will have the most beautiful scenery through Three Rivers and specially the Park.
I would have said the location was it's only advantage, but Three Rivers is unfortunately a dying town. And it's a 45-minute drive up a windy road to Sequoia NP. (True, 4 miles from the entrance, but the entrance is that long drive from anywhere you want to see) So, what did we like? Unfortunately, nothing.
Oh, the fridge seemed to be new, which was nice. But it was turned off when we arrived (presumably to save money), and when we turned it on, it created a puddle on the floor while cooling.
When we arrived we were greeted by Lisa our graceful hostess. She gave us the tour of her lovely home and re located us to a room that was very comfortable with w king bed, a claw foot tub, a tv.and a fireplace. Wonderful! The property is amazing with it huge palm trees and mowed lawn. There are tables outside for breakfast and Turkish robes for a jacuzzi that we enjoyed under the stars. Breakfast so good!! The whole stay was perfect!! Highly recommend visiting this hotel.
The place was awesome, really refreshing, inside the ranch with cute and friendly animals.
It even has a direct access to the nearby river for a short walk.
The location is ideal, at the entrance of Three Rivers, with shops rapidly accessible by car.
The host was super nice, providing useful tips and information about the facilities in the village.
The room was nice, calm, well furnished, and comfortable.
Lovely little place just outside sequoia national park. We really enjoyed staying here. At night, the place is just so dark and quiet it takes no more than a second to tall asleep! We loved having breakfast on the little patio at the back.
Also, the pictures uploaded here do not really do justifice to the place. It is so cute and spacious! Couldn't recommend it enough!
Very friendly and helpful staff. We had trouble with the TV (new ones have been ordered) and the same staff member happily came to help us twice. We needed to do laundry and were allowed to use their washing machine and dryer. Parking was convenient and of course Sequoia National Park is just up the road. The restaurant overlooking the river is in a beautiful location.
We stayed in the motel in November 2022. At first glance the room looked clean, I would even say cozy. Sure, the bathroom could have been in a better shape, but overall we had hot water, and who are we kidding, this is a motel, not a luxury hotel. The bed was comfy and the staff we interacted with were also nice and helpful.
Lovely bed and breakfast with friendly staff, Lisa was so lovely. We were only here for one night but were made to feel incredibly welcome and had a fantastic breakfast which set us up for our long drive. A great find if you're travelling to see Sequoia National Park.
The location. It is close to the 198 entrance to Sequoia NP. Three Rivers is a real town with market, gas station and several restaurants. The place was adequate for 2 people. I think any more would be tight. Kitchen facilities are excellent.
If you like the amenities of a standard hotel (pool, wi-fi, continental breakfast, free & plentiful parking) within close proximity to the Sequoia National Park, then this is a good hotel.
Very nice and clean location close to the Sequoia National Park. Hosts are kind and replied quickly to our requests.
Peaceful place, we had a great BBQ outside.
Quiet and peaceful spot. Lots of space in the house. Located near Sequoia National Park and only a mile from Sequoia Adventures whose rafting trip was excellent.
We love this family managed hotel. The lady was very nice and extremely informative. This is a conveniente and nice location to visit Sequoia National Park
Blue Jay Paradise was the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in. It was extremely clean, great communication with owner, fantastic location, and many extras!
