Being there for a funeral and meeting family members for the first time, it was not necessarily a place I would otherwise have chosen. What I saw of the area seemed quite nice. We did eat at the same restaurant, Briggs, two days in a row, and that was very good.
The food at Briggs was really tasty with huge portions. The staff was super-efficient and friendly. I would certainly recommend it and will go there again if I should find myself in the Wake Forest area.

The pool water was extremely cloudy and dirty.
The pool water was extremely cloudy and dirty. There was no breakfast due to Covid 19. The side doors of the hotel were broken so anyone could enter the hotel. The hotel lightening was very dark and depressing. It also felt damp and humid inside the hotel and room. Not to mention the strange smells throughout the hotel. This place is awful. I will never stay here again.

It was an ok stay.
It was an ok stay. My only problem is the cleaning staff needs to be there longer. They were also very rude when I asked them to clean my room. Other than that everything was ok. I feel like the pool could have been cleaner too. The beds were very comfortable which was the best part of my stay.

This hotel room had coffee pot, an apartment sized fridge and a microwave. Great shower. The room was spacious with King bed. Clean. Not much of a view. Indoor heated pool and a descent breakfast is included. The decor is modern and new looking. More closet and drawer space would be good for more than one person. Overall it exceeded my expectations. Its located near restaurants, department stores and boutique shopping. I did not explore entertainment because I was there to attend a family event.
I really appreciate your availing a breakfast! It takes the pressure of having to prepare for the day. I usually eat a simple breakfast (cold cereal, juice, yogurt-nice addition for me). I would have had a waffle or pancakes, but I slept in too late. (Not a bad tradeoff as I suffer from insomnia!) The staff at the front desk was very nice. Kena (spelling?) was professional and yet personable. I had an abrupt change of travel itinerary and I appreciate the hotel's empathy regarding their cancellation charge policy.
Breakfast was good and everything went well except. For the lady that cause issues on the day I buried my fiancee and was late getting back to Hotel. All of my items had been from my room with no.contact at all.
The hotel was exceptionally clean, and well situated. The bed was comfortable, and my husband noted that the pillows are full size which was a big improvement over the small pillows usually found in a hotel.
The hotel didn't serve breakfast, it didn't matter we did have a full kitchen. The staff was short of amazing. The area was nice, had everything we needed.
