Motel 6-Willows, CA, hotel in Willows

The staff are nice it's going through an upgrade renovation so it is a bit noisy and the beds are decent. But even in the middle of a construction the facilities and the overall Motel was kept clean considering there was construction going on

We only stayed one night because we were passing through to our destination. The hotel was right off the freeway exit and yet NO freeway noise could be heard. There were gas stations, restaurants, etc., within blocks because after driving for hours I didn't want to go search for dinner. We ate at Round Table. Made our trip easier. Thanks Willows!

WE DID NOT SPEND THE NIGHT THERE AS TWO SUBSEQUENT ROOMS HAD ISSUES AND THE RECEPTIONIST AGREED TO A CANCELLATION AND HE APOLOGIZED FOR THE LACK OF MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL. AS YOU CAN TELL WE BOOKED A ROOM AT THE HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS DOWN THE STREET for that night, which was really a night and day difference. WE HOPE TO GET A REFUND FOR THE WYNDHAM MOTEL. Booking.com did not tell us that the Wyndham pool is out of commission, and we found broken air conditioner, stinking trashcan in hallway, wrong bed frame for big mattress and left items from previous guests. Sorry for the litany of complaints but thanks to booking.com we found a great place, but we don’t think it’s fair if we still get charged for the Wyndham motel. My wife already had written about this last week including the cancellation confirmation number the Wyndham receptionist had given us. Respectfully, CVH

Musty room. It was the last room available that night.

Musty room. It was the last room available that night. Shower head was dismal. Bed comfy. Refrigerator made so much noise we turned it off. Accommodations were ok. Breakfast was limited to pancakes or sandwich, juice, yogurt and coffee. Subway and Starbucks is right next door so that made eating no problem. On our trip we had stayed in about 6 motels (some for less) and had better amenities. But we were too tired to care.

I drive my car at Thunderhill Raceway which is 10 miles outside of Willows. Willows is the only local choice for overnight stays. They have a Black Bear Diner, Gas stations, a Walmart, a decent Mexican restaurant, a Starbucks, and lots of hotel rooms to accommodate the race crowd. So Willows is fine for race enthusiasts and drivers. There really isn't any other reason for a tourist to go there other than overnight accommodations on the way up Hwy 5.

The hotel had live wires running through the lobby. A construction site. The doors were opened to enter the hall where our rooms were, which were propped open with trash cans so anyone could enter. My room had a previous occupancy key card left out on the sink.( No maid had cleaned the room. I have pictures of towels and a toilet not flushed from previous people. They canceled us and sent senior citizen ladies out to find a hotel at 7:30 pm. We checked 2 places before finding an available place for 2 nights.

YOU SHOULD NOT SELL TO THESE PEOPLE THAT ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS MAKING A DOLLAR AND NOT CARING WHETHER THEY STAND UP TO BAYMONT STANDARD. IF I HAD NOT STAYED AT A BAYMONT BEFORE I WOULD NEVER STAY AGAIN AND I WOULD TELL ALL MY FRIENDS.THE OWNER EVEN HAD THE PHONE TAKING OUT. THEY HAVE TO BE PAYING THE INSPECTOR OFF. IF YOU CARE ABOUT THE BAYMONT NAME YOU WOULD BE CHECKING THESE OWNERS OUT BEFORE YOU LET THEM USE YOUR NAME. SORRY THIS WAS THE LIKE SPACE. THEY DID HONOR THE PRICE I PAID FROM AN INTERNET OFFER.

Location was convenient. Easy access to freeway. Breakfast was great with a variety to choose from. Clean dining room. Staff for check in and check out were friendly and professional. Rooms were upscale with all the amenities. I will look to stay in your hotels when traveling in the future and have already recommended you to friends and family.

Hotel lobby and room are nice and clean as expected of Holiday Inn Express. The king bed room was very spacious with lounge chair. Bed was very comfortable and it had the best moisturizing conditioner l’ve ever tried in any hotel! Continental breakfast has number of choices, pastries were pretty good.

Clean, well lit, and well furnished. Yes it's an older building but it's well kept so I'm not sure why some people were complaining. It's not a 4 diamonds hotel
