I super love my stay at this hotel that I rebooked twice 😄
• Room - clean. And they can clean it everyday for you
• Beds - very comfortable
• Comfort room - I’m sensitive about bathrooms but I was impressed here. It was clean! There are also extra toothbrush, soaps, shampoos and tissues you can use. And oh it has hot shower!
• Room is air conditioned, has electric fan, has cabinet where you can store your luggage and stuffs, a table, a chair, blower, tea, electric kettle, bottled water, there’s also refill, and other things you may need
• has laundry area
• Let’s not forget how kind and helpful the OWNER and the STAFFS. There might be a language barrier but they try their best to to help and they have been really very helpful. They call drivers for you, guide you, walk you out if you’re lost, drive you, etc.

This is a restored Hmong house and is therefore rustic and not to be confused with a luxury hotel. The staff is incredibly welcoming and makes you feel like you're part of the family. Excellent food and company throughout my time.

Value is great here. the room was spacious, clean, and the location was very good. we were able to walk to the old town in dong van, and witness the sunday street market nearby. The staff here is also incredibly accommodating and sweet. I would recommend this place to friends and family in the future.

What a great view combined with a great place to stay. Khói Panorama is really a pearl.
This place is perfect for people who want to retreat a little and enjoy the quite Vietnam.
The Dong Van area has wonderful mountain scenery. Visitors should be sure to visit the Sky Walk, the Ma Pi Leng Pass, the Flag Tower, and the Hmong King Mansion. Driving to and from these locations are well worth the time spent.

I have seen the open market on every Sunday morning, which are the traditional activity of H-Mong ethnicity and are sold many H-Mong's products.
However, it's more careful to differentiate these H-Mong's and Chinese products.
As far as I know, H-Mong at the real time of this comment is able to produce only colorful scarves and their own traditional clothes.
I really like the taste of Chè Lam, a sweet dessert in Dong Van town.

On our way to exploring Ha Giang province, Dong Van is definitely an interesting stop to refresh before you visit to Ma Pi Leng pass - one of the most dangerous passes of Vietnam (that's what they say)

If you re planning to travel to Dong Van - Ha Giang and wanna have the best experiences of local life, you should definitely stay to Bui Homestay. BUI has a minimalist style but be unique of the northern mountainous region of Vietnam.
My friend and I stayed in BUI during our first trip in Dong Van last month, and we really had memorable memories here. At BUI you will meet Quy, Cam, Sau and two local sisters. They are so nice and supportive. They will always help u with anything u need.
=> Some interesting points about BUI:
- BUI is located at the best location in Dong Van where you can easily go to other “must-go” destinations (Lung Cu Flag pole, Ma Pi Leng Pass, Meo Vac Commune … )
- BUI does not have a separate toilet inside the room, but there is a row of 5 toilets in the back of the house, and they are very clean and private.
- BUI has a small garden out front that you can drink coffee in the morning and enjoy chill songs.
=> Finally, Will I come back here? Absolutely. I have an appointment with Dong Van and BUI in spring to see peach and plum blossoms full bloom :D

A friendly, welcoming town.
A friendly, welcoming town.
Great setting, lots to do from trekking to motorbike expeditions and massages.
Great variety of tasty food served by friendly people.
Interesting and busy local market, especially on Sunday when the surrounding villagers converge on the town to sell their produce.
Perfect temperatures, perfect ambience, so we stayed 5 days.
