Brilliant cottage with luxurious and eco-friendly amenities - we had a wonderful stay and wished we stayed longer. It is quite remote with little signal and no wifi , so it may not be for everyone, but it was great for our family. remember to do your grocery shopping before checking in as the closest nicest Spar is 20mn away.

The owner very kindly let me stay in my room until my driver came to pick me up, free of charge, for a few hours and also extended a bit of the breakfast bar timing for me as well! They were also very prompt in accomodating a late meal for when I arrived (which was delicious and the first time ever having malva pudding!) and also ensured my safety as a lone traveller by repeatedly checking in on me enroute to the the hotel.

Beautiful setting in a tranquil amazing garden with magnificent old trees .Stunning views with a lovely main building. Excellent welcoming and very helpful staff.Rooms are comfortable,immaculately clean and my room had its own fireplace with every need provided. The beautiful scenery of mountain and wildlife while driving to the property. The cottage style and furnishings are absolutely breathtaking. The decor reflects the nature outside. In the morning you are greeted by wildlife in front of the cottage and we were able to have coffee on the stoep with deer standing on the lawn. The area offers a lot of unique dining options but should you want to you can prepare absolutely anything in the kitchen as you’ll have everything you need.
