Offering quiet street views, Villas Mapache del Caribe is an accommodation set in Puerto Viejo, 400 metres from Negra Beach and 6.3 km from Jaguar Rescue Center.

The property was secure, clean, tidy, and the pool/ garden area was lovely. A short walk to a supermarket, and playa negra. Lots of space for parking if you are planning to rent a car for your trip! Hosts were super helpful with any requests and particularly with transport as we did not rent a vehicle of any sort during our stay.

the room is impeccable and located in a quiet street very close to the Center of Puerto viejo, where all restaurants and bars are located. José is an amazing host and was extremely helpful with everything I needed, I would definitely come back here in another visit, highly recommended!

Everything was perfect. I also want to highlight the great hospitality we received from the owners, that made our stay even more memorable. Eric and Sharon are super nice people who go above and beyond to ensure that their guests have a fantastic time.

Located in Puerto Viejo and only 1.4 km from Cocles Beach, Lomas del Caribe provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking.

The villas are very well equipped to cook anything you like! You can tell the person in charge cares about maintenance and does a good job at it. The pool was cleaned everyday, I asked for more sheets and towels and they were provided right away. Communication was excellent and easy via Whatsapp. Highly recommended for a group of four or family with kids. Very private, you can hear the monkeys howling and all kinds of birds chirping. Close to all main beaches (Cocles, Puerto Viejo and my fave, Punta Uva).

Los Delfines Lodge, a property with a garden, is set in Puerto Viejo, 1.2 km from Cocles Beach, 2.4 km from Chiquita Beach, as well as 1.8 km from Jaguar Rescue Center.

This has to be one of my all time favorite places we stayed at. The house and property were just great and the location perfect to explore Cocles, Puerto Viejo and Punta Uva. We could have easily stayed more than 5 days. Also the hosts were jsut too kind. We were even picked up at the bus station when we arrived and we got a ride at the end of our stay. Also, we could use their two bicycles to explore the area, which was perfect. If you like to cook your own food, the kitchen is very well equipped and just 1km from the property are two huge supermarkets where you get everything you need. Although during day you'll hear cars driving past the property sometimes, at night the area is very calm and in the morning you wake up to the sound of birds. Also important to mention: all windows are screened with mosquito nets. You don't get hot during the night because the temperatures are quite comfortable compared to, for example, the pacific coast.

Situated in Puerto Viejo, near Negra Beach and Cocles Beach, Pacos Place is a recently renovated property, featuring, a garden and terrace.

It felt like home away from home 🤩 We had the whole place to ourselves, full privacy which was great. Jac was so warm and welcoming - she is lovely! And it was so central to everything. Will definitely book it again!

The grounds were exceptional and the house was amazing - very well built! The location to restaurants and the beach was fabulous. Fernando was great at communication and very helpful.

Situated within 400 metres of Chiquita Beach and less than 1 km of Punta Uva Beach in Puerto Viejo, Villas Mar y Coral features accommodation with seating area and a kitchen.

Good location, very clean and aesthetically pleasing, comfortable bed & great blackout curtains. Shower was fair pressure and the water was hot. Loved seeing the howler monkeys outside in the trees, the sloth down the road and the birds in the garden. The owner was very pleasant and proactive. Aircon was great and WiFi was good. We enjoyed ourselves in spite of the comments below, thank you for hosting us.

The host was responsive. The property is private and requires a pin to enter the main gate and house. The rooms and bathrooms are large. There is a family area to watch TV and both bathrooms have HOT water for rainy days.
