Unfortunately my friend and I were not able to really enjoy the comforts of this place because we were so busy running around Ella. However, the homestay owners were the friendliest, the view was breathtaking, and I loved how quiet it was. The shower had hot water, the place was so clean (and so is the town!), and the beds with the mosquito net made me feel like a princess. Be mindful of animals.

We did have a really good time at the Cozy Cottage Hotel, even if I felt sick. 3 Nights, stunning view over the hills of Ella, very clean facility, very friendly staff with a very professional hotel manager (I was sick and the staff took very good care for me and brought extra tea and health products). Thanks for such a friendly treatment. The Breakfast and Food at the restaurant was also very tasty. Close by there are some small hiking trails and the train station. By Tucktuck, you are in a short time to the center of Ella.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Tea Cabins in Ella and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived I was blown away by the stunning location and all the nature view arround the place it was literally a breathtaking view. The cabin itself was beautifully designed and decorated offering a luxurious and comfortable stay. The room was spacious clean and well-appointed with all the amenities one could need. The highlight for me was the private pool overlooking the the whole mountains and tea plantation around you in addition to the suspended net where I spent many hours just taking in the view and listening to the sound of the birds. But what truly set Tea Cabins apart was the amazing staff. From the welcoming and attentive reception to the friendly and helpful team of employees the service was outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble and they went above and beyond to ensure I had a memorable stay. The food was also exceptional with each meal carefully prepared and presented showcasing the best of Sri Lankan cuisine. I especially enjoyed the rotti on breakfast were fresh and flavorful. Overall I would highly recommend Tea cabins to anyone looking for a luxurious cabin in the nature getaway with exceptional service and breathtaking views. It truly exceeded all my expectations and I can't wait to return.

The team couldn’t do enough for us, anything we needed was accommodated and the breakfast was amazing! This is not a negative but it’s worth being aware of - to gain this amazing serenity you do have to venture 15 mins by easily arranged tuk tuk. We wouldn’t have wanted to stay in Ella town itself but we still did plenty of the ‘must sees’ thanks to the amazing team.
