Lovely breakfast, fresh bacon, fresh eggs from the chickens, bread and fruit. We also received a bottle of Heritage wine which we enjoyed looking out over the winery. The cottage was extremely well equipped and spotlessly clean. There were lots of useful extra's such as milk, tea and coffee. It was located near the centre of Tanunda and we stayed for two nights, but wished we could have stayed longer.

Walnut Cottage offers private self-contained accommodation with free WiFi and free breakfast supplies, just 5 minutes’ walk from Angaston's main street. Cute period cottage in the heart of Angaston, located on a quiet street but within a few minutes' walk to all amenities including bar, restaurant, grocery shop plus a few specialty shops eg Barossa cheese company. Very well equipped, you don't need to take anything with you, it's like a home from home (shampoo, washing powder, condiments, you name it!) Breakfast basket was excellent with enough food for a cooked breakfast, also a bottle of wine, port and juices.

What goes unmentioned is the astonishing night sky due to the little to no light pollution in the area. Everything included in the breakfast was also to mention, great range with even better flavours. Great place for a little getaway.
