Hacienda El Porvenir by Tierra del Volcan is set in a traditional Andean house with adobe walls and thatched roofs. There is a restaurant, and breakfast is included. Food at the restaurant was stellar, great selection of typical Andean dishes to try at reasonable prices. Location was scenic and beautiful, lots of hikes to try and loved spending time with the llamas. Great place to relax, sit by the wood fire and reconnect with nature or loved ones. The spa was just what I needed to relax, worth it.

Boasting mountain views, Quinta maría isabel. Elegante y restaurada offers accommodation with an open-air bath, a garden and a shared lounge, around 39 km from Pumapungo Museum. The owner and staff have done a magnificent job of restoring this 100 year old building to a wonderful condition. Much of the restoration has been completed, and I was impressed by how he/they continue improving even the smaller details. The service was excellent, the building, immaculate, and I especially enjoyed watching the clouds drift up among the surrounding hills in the early mornings.

Featuring mountain views, Comunidad La Moya, Calpi features accommodation with patio, around 32 km from Chimborazo Volcano. This is an out of the way very tranquil property. If you want the big city, don’t come here. If you want a very relaxed stay in an indigenous town with extremely nice people, this is for you. Served me dinner and breakfast for a very reasonable fee. They have a museum which is well worth it. Also sell some homemade indigenous products made the the townspeople.

A recently renovated holiday home set in Quito, LODGE NATAN features a garden. This holiday home offers free private parking, a 24-hour front desk and free WiFi. the best value for the price. we had everything we needed there and more. it’s a place where you want to stay for a week not a night like we did. the kitchen fully equipped, three bedrooms, two bathrooms (one with hot water), tomato de árbol on a tree, nice setting. it’s a bit off from Nanegalito but you can easily walk down and come back with a camioneta for 2 usd. last but not least, hosts are super kind and helpful. highly recommended!

Oh, my regrets of not booking this place longer. This was a wonderful location for my family. Safe, Secure, Clean, and Fun. Close to Cotapoxi for hiking and other outdoor adventures. Lovely place that the pictures of the dwelling do not do suffucicent justice. Plenty of space and washrooms. Even secure outdoor location for entertainment. Blankets are nice and warm. Really, book this place for a longer stay then we did.
