We stayed in many airbnb and accomdations during our 14 days road trip and I can say that this hits the top 3. Its located on a large compound with hostel, cabin, campsite. Fantastic place to rest, relax and explore.

Ühise köögi ja puhkeruumi ning mäevaatega Skútustadir Guesthouse asub Mývatni järve lõunakaldal paiknevas talus. Wi-Fi ja parkimine on tasuta. Nice and cosy room, with access to a well-equipped kitchen and to a large bathroom with a couple of showers, toilets and sinks. The staff is very friendly and the area around the guesthouse is beautiful. The breakfast was delicious, with local products from the farm, such as smoked trout, homemade jam and bread. They also have an ice cream shop. The guesthouse is located very close to the main attractions in the Myvatn area.

Mäevaatega Slow Travel Mývatn - Óli's Homestay-Private house v asub Myvatnis, 50 km kaugusel Godafossi joast. Terrassiga majutusasutuses on tasuta eraparkla ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. The house is lovely, we recommend! Not just very well equipped with anything you might need, but also spatious and really has a home feel. The hosts put so much effort into making our stay also informative and educational with the many info sheets and traditional items in the house. All the sights are super near by so we could reach the warm home quickly after windy and snowy walks :)

Järvevaatega Myvo Vana talu Geiteyjarströnd 4 pakub aiaga majutust umbes 48 km kaugusel Godafossi joast. Rannaäärsel majutusasutusel on rõdu, tasuta eraparkla ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. The very comfortable home from home, accommodation. Plenty of space for four people to spread out and enjoy the view across the lake. The close proximity to the amazing geological sites was a real bonus. The laundry facilities were excellent and we made good use of them.

Grillimisvõimalusega Hlíd Huts asub Myvatnis, 49 km kaugusel Godafossi joast. Terrassiga majutusasutuses on tasuta eraparkla ja tasuta WiFi-ühendus. It was a cute little hut. There's no bathroom in the room, but they seemed to be very clear about that up front. We enjoyed sitting on our front porch sipping wine and looking over the lava field.
