We watched it and the glow from the cozy dining area and it was spectacular. Very short driving distance from the photogenic mountain Kirkjufellsa. The beds are very comfortable, the wood paneling on the walls makes you feel good. The access road is in good condition, there is an adjacent parking lot. The owner lives nearby and is available for any questions or requests. We couldn't ask for more. For us, the place is very special and was perfect.

A great location for exploring the peninsula. It is well equipped with everything you need to prepare meals, and relax. It was our mid-week stop so being able to do some laundry was a bonus.

Marbakki was a very beautiful, secluded property. My family and I loved the design of the house - it was very cozy and made us feel right at home. The villa had a lot of great touches including a well stocked kitchen (various spices, coffee pods, etc.) and yoga mats. The rooms were small, but the beds were very comfortable. Although there is only one bathroom, it was spacious and very clean. The outside deck overlooking the ocean and the hot tub were amazing. We enjoyed sitting and relaxing in the hot tub while taking in the ocean and mountain views. I highly recommend taking an evening or morning walk on the beach! Our family really enjoyed this villa and we will keep it on our list for future Iceland trips!
