Wonderfully secluded cottage in the middle of the countryside. Well situated for trips to Snaefellsnes. Very friendly and nice hosts living on with their farm next door. Possibility to book a guided horse ride with one of their icelandic horses, which was a magical experience! The cottage was well equipped, clean and absolutely cozy. We really enjoyed our stay here and can fully recommend!

It's a beutiful farm situated in such a gorgeous valley with mouintains, sheeps and little lake. The nature itself is an experience you will never forget. And the silence around it's so calming. The accomodation itself is very nice too, comfortable and clean. Only regret is that we didn't ask if we can cuddle the sheeps. They were so cute...

Kuća je jako velika, sve je kako je na slikama. Do kuće se dolazi vožnjom od 7km po ne asfaltiranoj cesti pa imajte to na umu. Sobe su velike, nas je bilo 4 i svaka je imala svoju sobu. Kreveti su bili udobni. Pokraj kreveta nema utičnica. Kuhinja je prostrana i ima dovoljno posuđa, samo računajte da nema začina. Dočeli su nas 4 kapsule za kavu, točno koliko nas je bilo. Kupaonica je jako velika, postoji i dodatni wc. Sapun je dostupan, kao i gel za tuširanje. Ako budete imali sreće vidjet ćete i konje u prirodnom okruženju.

Set in Bær in the West Iceland region, Jadar Farm offers accommodation with free private parking. This villa provides a garden. We had the most incredible two nights at Jadar Farm. We were greeted by the sweetest dog, Breki outside catching snowflakes when we arrived. The owner showed us around the property and was extremely kind and welcoming. It was our honeymoon trip and they had a couple of glasses of champagne for us. Thank you for the very sweet detail! We felt right at home at this beautiful property. We gathered delicious tomatoes from the geothermal greenhouse, relaxed and enjoyed dinner a quiet night in the hot tub. The next day we drove to Snaefellsnes Peninsula which was a very short drive away. Borgarnes also a few minutes close by. We were also able to purchase wool directly from the farmers at a great price. Don’t think twice-book this property. We can’t wait to come back again! Thank you for an incredible stay.
