This villa is the best i had in Sri Lanka, whether it is the architectural design of the wooden cabin or the warm furnishings inside, it made me feel like home in the somewhat cool mountains. Also the food presentation is very well designed, especially it's for free.

Shirin1892 is a lovely homestay surrounded by idyllic mountains and tea plantations. It's located about a 15 minute walk from the centre of Nuwara Eliya and 10 minute walk to Gregory Lake. The host, Asela is so friendly, helpful and accomodating and told us lots of stories and history about Nuwara Eliya and his family home. Our room was very big and comfortable and we had thick blankets for the colder nights. The home was like stepping back in time and it was so interesting to see the contrast of architecture, decor etc to homes in the rest of Sri Lanka. Conveniently situated in Nuwara Eliya, La Grande Villa provides express check-in and check-out and free private parking. The room was spotless, one of the cleanest hotel rooms I have seen. The bathroom and the outdoor patio were spectacular too. Overall, really enjoyed the quiet and calm. The bed was very comfortable.

Just had the most incredible stay in Kent cottages The staff at Kent went above and beyond to make my family's experience unforgettable. Huge shoutout to the wonderful manager Nalaka. and all the staff for their amazing service! 🙌 The uncle chef treated us to delicious Sri Lankan cuisine that was out of this world! 😋 The cleanliness, location, and design of the place were simply mind-blowing; we truly felt like we were in London!

Offering barbecue facilities and views of the mountains, Thuring's Holiday Bungalow is set in Nuwara Eliya, 600 metres from Gregory Lake. Free private parking is available on site. Very comfortable beds(best we have had so far in Sri Lanka!), very clean. Lovely place and lovely views from the place. Accomodation was a 5 minute tuktuk or 20 min walk to most places which was ideal! Staff were lovely and very helpful. Would stay again!
