I especially want to mention the staff, absolutely everyone was friendly, smiling and helpful. Saskia Ambu helped us throughout our stay, helped us order a taxi and tuk-tuk, explained to the drivers where to take us and what we needed to find. A good attitude was manifested even in non-obvious things, such as giving us water to take with us in the car, treating us to a Sri Lankan dish and giving us a free visit to the sauna, but unfortunately we did not have time to take advantage of it. Breakfast was delicious, dining room was clean, service was fast and high quality. Again all the staff are absolutely amazing. I also want to mention the cleanliness. The room, the bathroom and bed were very clean. Wifi worked well and we were even able to watch a TV series from it.

This hotel is a little paradise surrounded by lush green tea fields. Everything is outstanding: the check-in with a cup of tea from the local factories, the spacious and clean rooms, the delicious home-cooked curry for dinner, the nice staff and the breakfast, where everything is homemade, too. 10 Points for the homemade coconut jam!

If we could have given Asilha, the owner, a score of 15 out of 10 we would have done it. The lengths he went to to organise train tickets for us at no charge for his services were extreme. He could not have done more for us. No expense has been spared on the quality finishes of this establishment. The views are great, the breakfasts enormous. Highly recommended.

Nastanitev Kent Cottage se nahaja 2,6 km od znamenitosti Jezero Gregory in ponuja brezplačen WiFi ter brezplačno zasebno parkirišče. The room was adorable. The view from the room was breathtaking. The housekeeper (Mr. Nalaka) was so nice and he’s the best housekeeper you could ask for. I would definitely visit here again.

Offering barbecue facilities and views of the mountains, Thuring's Holiday Bungalow is set in Nuwara Eliya, 600 metres from Gregory Lake. Free private parking is available on site. Really nice small stay with a kind host family. Really clean room and great bathroom with plenty of hot water. After a rainy day we enjoyed a warm shower. The host also helped us and organized laundry for us and we could use the blender and fridge of the family. Also great location to take a walk im the tea plantation. Its next by.

Tea Hills Bungalow is located in Hatton. Free WiFi access is available in the public areas of this chalet. I had a phenomenal time at the Tea Hills Bungalow. The management was very kind and helped arrange transportation to and from the train station. The room was just lovely and had an excellent view of the surrounding tea estates. The cooking in the restaurant The breakfast, lunch, and dinner were incredibly delicious. The staff was very accommodating to my requests even beyond normal breakfast or dinner hours. The hotel management helped arrange for me to get to all of the places I wanted to visit including climbing Adam's Peak, seeing Castlereigh Reservoir, Devon, and St. Clair waterfalls. I especially thought Luxman was not only an excellent driver but gave excellent advice about the area and just went out of the way to be a warm and exceptionally kind host (with excellent jokes)! I highly recommend this place and hope to return here again.
