Sujeevani Villa ligger 500 meter från Negombo Beach Park. Här finns en balkong med utsikt över trädgården, en utomhuspool och gratis privat parkering. Bästa frukosten på Sri Lanka. 7 sorters frukt och färskpressad juice, te/kaffe, toast, ägg på valfritt sätt och något annat som t ex perfekt pannkaka eller french toast. Allt serverat professionellt av hotellägaren. Lugnt läge men ändå nära butiker och restauranger. Mycket trevlig hotellägare som sköter allting själv. Vi fick behålla rummet till kl 16 utan extra kostnad. Stora rum.

Villa Hundira ligger 4,5 km från det holländska fortet i Negombo. Här erbjuds 2 utomhuspooler, en lekplats för barnen, en trädgård och gratis WiFi. Everything was perfect once we settled into the Lagoon Suite with views over the lagoon and expansive living area. Our host, Jay the resort manager was a terrific person who made sure everything went smoothly including a tour around the property where we met the owners Rolf and Indira and engaged in great conversation before being introduced to Thimble and meeting the craftswomen hard at work. The staff at the resort were wonderful and provided service second to none and really made us feel like family. The food was exceptional, so much so that we ended up eating all our meals from breakfast through dinner exclusively at the resort. The gin and tonics using local gin were terrific and the only regret is we completely forgot to try the local arrack despite promising to do so. Next time. There are various areas to have meals throughout the resort with the overall feeling of privacy coupled with openness. We typically ate breakfast facing the lagoon in the area below the room, and often dinner at tables closer to the pool - there was no shortage of choice depending on the mood and ambience needed. Food choices range from western to local, and all were true to expectations with the local cuisine being wonderfully authentic. On our final day we used the Spa for a 3 hour treatment followed up with local cuisines - what a wonderful experience and recommended as a 'must do' for anyone staying multiple days. As a memory of our stay we bought a wonderful wall tapestry designed and created by the artisans at Thimble and this will feature in a prominent position in our house in the future. Overall the most relaxing environment we stayed at in Sri Lanka for our final few days and we are already looking forward to returning. Recommendation for anyone interested is to stay at least 2 nights, slow down, relax, and enjoy the offerings.

Very beautiful place, Daniyel is a super nice and supportive host. The beds are very comfortable, we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. We were happy that we chose this place as our last accommodation before flying home.

The B'Fast was an English one since we ordered that with lots of fresh juices. It was a very tasty meal. Superb location too.

Bee Cottage Negombo ligger i Negombo, 2,9 km från Negombo strand och 16 minuters promenad från St Anthony's Church, och erbjuder boende med gratis WiFi och luftkonditionering. It’s a lovely place that feels like a home away from home, but with the hospitality of a hotel. The owners took good care of me and the property. You can ask them for anything any time. I’ll book again when in Negombo.

Star Canal Cottage ligger i Negombo, inom 4 minuters promenad från Wellaweediya strand och 2,8 km från Negombo strand, och erbjuder boende med en terrass och gratis WiFi i alla utrymmen. My partner and I had the best stay at Star Canal Cottage. After receiving a great tuk tuk tour around Negombo from Leon at the start of our trip, we stayed at his guesthouse before our departure too due to his friendliness and consideration. Our room very clean, spacious and light, with a powerful hot shower in the bathroom. The location is great, close to the city centre with restaurants nearby, but down a quiet canal road to enjoy the peace. We read and listened to the birds on the terrace during the day, while drinking home made lime juice before an excellent dinner of home-made prawns from Leon. A wonderfully kind, funny, and diligent host (and now friend), we will recommend Star Canal Cottage to anyone wishing to visit Sri Lanka :)

Villa Lagoonscape ligger i Negombo och erbjuder en trädgård, en utomhuspool som är öppen året om och utsikt över poolen. Location was stunning and food was awesome . Loved it ! We will definitely come again. The staff treated us very well and they were really obliging when we had service requests. Highly recommended for family time.

Bliss Beach ligger i Negombo, 38 km från R Premadasa Stadium och 40 km från Khan Clock Tower, och erbjuder boende med en terrass och luftkonditionering. It was a lovely property nestled in its own land with a lovely garden. The property itself had easy check and Morgan, our caretaker, was very kind and attentive to our needs and privacy. It overlooks the beachfront and has a lovely view from the 2nd floor. They had arranged us a nice bench with a table for us to sit on and enjoy our meals with. Hot water was great too. You cannot swim on the beach although a short walk away, you are greeted with lovely views. The staircase and roof area needs a little work which they had promised to finish. All in all, a lovely experience. Thank you Sherwin!
