Situată pe un domeniu viticol, pe malul drept al fluviului Duero, Quinta De La Rosa este o proprietate de familie, aflată la 2 km de Pinhão. Everything. Wine tasting and tour was exceptional. The guide was very informed and pleasant. My meal that evening was one of the best I've had in a Portugal since arriving two weeks ago. Huge compliments to the chef. The waiting staff were very efficient and friendly.

Overlooking the scenic Douro River Valley, Quinta da Casa Cimeira, Guest House, Wines & Food is set in a historic country house and surrounded by a garden and vineyards. The place is fantastic, better than we expected! Great staff and warm welcoming, they service us their homemade excellent port when we arrived. The room is very spacious and charming with elegant antique furnitures, great atmosphere! The dinner was amazing! Great food and wine, they were very kind to serve us with another pre-drink of port, lots of great red wine during the dinner and with a 40years port after dinner. Breakfast is also nice and fresh! We were on our way from Northern Portugal to Madrid Spain, and found this place on the way. So that was a considered as a place for an overnight only. The owner was very welcoming, need to use google translate, as Portuguese is the only language... She also runs a small cafe shop, just across the street. There is a large swimming pool - it was too cold for us, but if you arrive in hot days, it looks great.
