Offering a terrace and views of the mountain, Candeias do Souto is located in Bragança in the Norte Region, 9 km from Braganca Castle. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. Very nice renovated 200y old house, big rooms, clean, nice garden. A village of 27 persons :).

Everything. Wine tasting and tour was exceptional. The guide was very informed and pleasant. My meal that evening was one of the best I've had in a Portugal since arriving two weeks ago. Huge compliments to the chef. The waiting staff were very efficient and friendly.

Overlooking the scenic Douro River Valley, Quinta da Casa Cimeira, Guest House, Wines & Food is set in a historic country house and surrounded by a garden and vineyards. Our host was amazing, friendly and generous with drink and food and friendship. I loved the sweet cherry tree and views of the vineyards.

Ubytovanie Casa do Santo - Wine & Tourism sa nachádza v destinácii Provesende 13 km od miesta Natur Waterpark a 37 km od miesta Múzeum regiónu Douro. It was simply beautiful, we had the pool view room though I have to say the pool, though lovely, was the last thing your eyes feasted on, the views over the mountains and vineyards being exceptional. Pulling the window blinds up in the room took your breath away. Spotlessly clean, fresh and airy. Maria was amazing, very knowledgeable and freely giving of the interesting family history and arranged restaurants and taxis for us which was most helpful. We obviously had to sample the wine and port, again very good, the White Reserva being most excellent, so much so we had to buy some to take home to add to our collection (if it gets there!). The small but perfectly pared nibbles with the wine and port were very naughty but nice. We would definitely stay again and would certainly fully recommend anyone to visit as a must do, great place for all the great Douro river and port wine activities in a peaceful environment. The village is great too. Highly recommended. Thank you.

Quinta de Travassinhos is a magical place in the Douro Valley with beautiful views, outstanding ambiance and exceptional hospitality. Helena & Ricardo have painstakingly restored and renovated the property into something rare and special where modern amenities and comfort meet the beauty of a working farm and vineyard. Their kindness and attention to customer service is world class, and is matched by their knowledge of the history of the area and willingness to share the stories of their journey to create their dream. While my partner and I were there, we enjoyed morning hikes through the vineyards, daily trips to regional towns, afternoon dips in the indoor salt water spa pool, and evening dinners where our hosts and staff provided upscale-rustic regional cuisine, local wines and port, and wonderful conversation with both hosts and guests. This will be somewhere we will hopefully be able to revisit in the coming years as it truly is one of our favourites of all time!

Ubytovanie Casas da Serra - Soeima Housing sa nachádza v destinácii Alfândega da Fé 32 km od miesta stredoveký most Mirandela. We were on our way from Northern Portugal to Madrid Spain, and found this place on the way. So that was a considered as a place for an overnight only. The owner was very welcoming, need to use google translate, as Portuguese is the only language... She also runs a small cafe shop, just across the street. There is a large swimming pool - it was too cold for us, but if you arrive in hot days, it looks great.

This is a fantastic place, especially if you have ever wanted to stay in a peaceful, beautiful Portuguese village. The owners have perfectly refurbished several old houses with modern conveniences for a very comfortable stay. The owners were so friendly and helpful. We would stay here again in a heart-beat.

A spacious, luxurious and clean guesthouse in a quiet neighborhood. Free parking is available on the premises. Perfect breakfast and very nice staff. Enjoyed the stay and as a matter of speaking felt at home.
