5 days in Leh with my spouse was pure magic! We explored ancient monasteries, gasped at turquoise Pangong Tso, and hand-in-hand, braved the high altitudes. Leh's beauty brought us closer, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Leh is cold throughout the year.
Leh is cold throughout the year. That is the basic point we to remember. And at a altitude with its associated problems. Otherwise it is great holiday spot. So much to see.
A definite must to visit many times.

Most visitors to Leh prefer to stay longer to tour the valleys nearby. We went during the off-season and the main reason was to get away from the Delhi chaos over a weekend. So Leh served its purpose for us. The main market area has good cafes, restaurants and shops. Shanti Stupa is also present in Leh. Good vibes nothing less. Leh has a large Indian Army presence so we felt very safe and secure :)

Scenic views all around with the most amazing people!
Scenic views all around with the most amazing people! Momos were my favourite local dish that you can find at most restaurants. Love that Leh is more pedestrian friendly and quiet compared to the rest of India. Perfect destination for relaxation.

I was expecting a little more of the city.
I was expecting a little more of the city. The market is nice, I had some fine food, but the streets and sidewalks are too disorganized, there are signs "don't walk alone in the dark because of the stray dogs" (?!?!?), it's pretty smoggy and conservation in general is lacking. Came by bicycle through the Manali-Leh road, which was amazing, but the city itself wasn't a highlight of the trip.
The hotel was immaculately clean, comfortable, and well-located in a village within walking distance of Leh Market. The owner, Gonbo, was incredibly hospitable, from offering fresh mint tea when mint was harvested in the garden to making a bonfire at night. With many years of experience as a travel guide, he arranged our inner line permits and drivers and offered valuable advice about local places and food. The balcony from the room had a great view of the castle, Shanti Stupa, the garden, and the mountains. I would definitely stay here again.

Shib and his collegeaus are amazing hosts. The rooms are really big and what I loved the most was having my breakfast in their beautiful garden every morning. I planned to stay a few days but ended up staying a month and exploring from there beautiful impressive Ladakh.. Shib became a friend and he took me to beautiful sites of the region as well - we also attended a traditional Tibetian Festival. I am happy to leave India with new friends... :) Sure I will visit again. Come!
Del and his family made us at home. We had a superb experience on our stay with them. The rooms were priced economically. The amenities (rooms, bathroom...) were excellent. The breakfast was exceptional. Whenever we were tired in the evenings and asked them to prepare food, they presented us with homecooked food which was tasty and the portions were huge.
They went out of their way to make us comfortable
Will definitely be staying here again when I revisit Leh
Raybo Hostel in Leh made our Ladakh trip unforgettable! The staff was friendly and helpful, the hostel was clean and comfortable, and the common areas were perfect for meeting new people. We especially loved the [mention something specific you enjoyed, e.g., rooftop views, movie nights, delicious breakfast]. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a social and authentic Leh experience! The hospitality of Deba and Vedant was amazing..
Exceptional service. Homely stay. Homely food. All the staff including the owner went way beyond expectations to ensure health, safety and medical needs arising out of high altitude sickness were addressed smoothly. Word to all visitors: Please heed the advice of the owner and staff about Acclimatization. They know the best for you in Ladakh.

Its a must visit if you’re ever in leh/ladakh
It was so beautifully situated on the Indus River. All the staff - especially Jigmet - were so welcoming and bent over backwards to make our stay perfect. Jigmet even took us on a walk to a camel sanctuary, pointing out particular aspects of the landscape and Ladakhi architecture. The food is delicious and you are served so much of it.
Nestled amidst the splendor of Hotel Skittsal Garden Leh, you'll discover a haven of tranquility. The owner, Mr. Rinchin, and the entire staff are exceptionally cooperative, making your stay all the more enjoyable. Immerse yourself in the beauty of the surroundings and relish the warm hospitality. It's an experience worth cherishing.

Spread In 2 Blocks with awasome Garden Inna Desert of Ladakh
Host were very helpful and welcoming. He helped us in booking vehicle to roam around Ladakh. Room had facilities like heater, hot water in bathroom and Wi-Fi. Though they don't serve food here, in 200-300 meter walking distance food options were available. Had a comfortable stay. Hassle free check-in.
The owner Gyal was very nice and helpful to plan our stay in Ladakh. He connected us to a super driver to get to know Nubra Valley and surroundings.
Staff was nice and friendly.
Food was good and cheap.
Beautiful view on the mountains.
Nice big room with big windows to enjoy the view.
Perfect stay in Leh. Great location 3 mins walk to the main market and many restaurants. The views of the Palace and mountains around are beautiful. Very clean room and hot water showers. We were able to store a bag while we did a motorbike trip around ladakh. Thank you!
We have been there for 6 days… the location of the hotel is very near to leh market..
Rooms were clean and spacious with Mountain View… good food prepared by the staff
We had great experience, I would definitely recommend to my friends.
Very clean, huge room, breakfast and dinner included, and very friendly staff - I liked all of it. The hotel seems new and is well kept up. Considering everything the hotel has to offer, the room rate is very fair.
The staff is top notch and helped us a lot to settle in the first 2 days.
The hotel is quite nearby to ladakh market and is a 4 minutes walk
