Staff were super friendly and service was great except when the pool bar is open it is almost impossible to get anything from the restaurant. It took 40min to get a Coca Cola up from the downstairs restaurant. They should just say “no service at the pool” and I would’ve got it myself. Other than that a great value stay.

The Hotel Monte Alegre is an economic option located in the centre of Rio de Janeiro, near the popular Lapa district and with easy access to museums, theatres and other attractions.
