Amazing location, very friendly and helpful staff. Property was gorgeous. Room was super cool and breakfast delicious.

Situated in Salvador, within walking distance from Pelourinho, Hotel Pousada da Mangueira features an outdoor pool and beautiful gardens. Very good and helpful staff, nice location close to the beautiful area, daily housekeeping. Very beautiful pousada. And definitely worth the value.

Usually do landmark hotels with family, but wanted to try something low budget and different for Salvador. This place was perfect with a human connection large hotels can't provide. The pool and breakfast although modestly sized were both delightful and full of character. We booked 7 nights and were sad to leave. And of course, what's not to love about free booze daily from 5:15 to 6:15pm?

Þetta boutique-hótel er staðsett í sögulega miðbæ Pelourinho, í XVII-byggingu. I would absolutely recommend the stay. The room looked just like in the pictures, very clean. The location is super central, easy to walk around, observe the historic places, shop for souvenirs or go out for dinner/drink. The staff is super helpful, speaks english very well, is attentive and also gives great recommendations regarding what to see or do, and how to realize further plans after leaving the accommodation.

We had such a great time! The hosts were extremely kind, helpful and flexible! The breakfast was great and the rooms very comfortable. The location of the hotel is perfectly situated in Pelourinho. This is one of the best hostels I've ever experienced. The staff were sublime!! They created a cozy atmosphere and you could feel they enjoyed being here. Everything was clean and recommend buying the breakfast, where they serve at least 4 different fruits. The location is even 50 meters from a supermarket and the kitchen in the Hostel has what you need to cook your own dinner.
